Someone's pov -

It was the 2nd week of the Royal family members and their acquaintances' wait for the Prince to regain his consciousness
On Queen Lisa's strict order no action was yet taken against hyunjin nor any search teams sent to find him , jisoo had been dead 2 weeks ago and the citizens of Ivor were in grave confusion about the prince's health and his whereabouts
All of felix's Schedules were cancelled for a whole month , the name of the most beloved body guard of the citizens and the kingdom itself was now removed from the king's guard (a bunch of most trusted guards and chancellors of the king ) which made people think that Hyunjin was dead because a name is only removed from the king's guard if they betray the king or they die and according to ivorians there was no way hyunjin would've betrayed the Royal family

In the palace
"Felix's heart rate is dropping immensly please go call the doctor " Rosè who was visiting felix in his room ordered the maids once she noticed felix's breathing going low along with his heart rate , she quickly called lisa, minho , ryujin and seungmin into his room
"What's wrong madame Rosè why did you call us so immediately?" The doctor asked
"Felix's heart is dropping dangerously " Rosè replied
"That isn't a good sign " the doctor exclaimed as he sat down , starting to check up felix
"His body isn't reacting to any medications we give him , if this continues he might even fall into a coma or die" the doctor explained "also we need to see If he's still reacting to his surroundings " he announced

He instructed the family members to talk to Felix to get a reaction out of him
Everyone in the room had tried to do everything but nothing worked , Felix didn't move a finger by the time the doctor himself had lost hope when seungmin Hissed "this is what Hyunjin has done to your son and you still don't want him to he punished ? Please please let me find him and punish him "
Before lisa could even reply the doctor exclaimed "he moved his hand "

Everyone turned around to look at felix and the doctor
"What was that name you mentioned?" The doctor asked
"Hyunjin " Lisa repeated and all of them closely looked at felix to notice the slightest movement
"We should punish hyunjin , I should send a search party and get him killed " Chan who had been quiet for a while loudly exclaimed
Triggering an instant reaction out of felix , Felix had moved his head and his hand
"No medicine can save him now " the doctor exclaimed looking at Felix
"What do you Mean doctor he just moved his hand and his head why would you say that" Rosè argued
"He doesn't need medicine , he needs this person whoever you're talking about " the doctor replied "wait let me explain so in a simpler language if Felix is only reacting to this person , hyunjin that means that his brain is pushing everything away and it just remembers or recognizes hyunjin so if we bring him to Felix his brain might start reacting to everything " the doctor explained
"Send a fucking search team for hyunjin , I want him in the palace safe and alive within a day" chan ordered and minho and han stormed out of the room to fulfill the orders
"Rosè please you too work on it " lisa pleaded turning towards Rosè making her run out of the room too with seungmin following her
"Queen you should take some rest I'll be with felix " ryujin exclaimed
Lisa nodded and left the room along with the doctor

As soon as everyone left the room ryujin shut the door and started looking around as if searching for something
She bent down in front of the side stool next to felix's bed and ripped a radio microphone transmitter from under it
"Found it" she whispered and started looking around again for something else probably a hidden camera , she found it in a flower vase

Hyunjin who had been spying on the Royal family specifically Felix from outside the palace was shocked to see that ryujin knew about his little scheme what shocked him more was the words she spoke to him through the transmitter
"Hwang Hyunjin you've already killed a person your motto of a life for a life is already fulfilled so now bring your ass to palace surrender to the royalty and help felix and if you think you can deny this request then you can't because I'll have you in the palace by hook or by crook " Ryujin warned and the transmitter was probably destroyed because the signal broke and hyunjin could no longer see or hear what was going on in Felix's room
A minute later he recieved a message with a photo of yeji tied to a chair in a dark room and a gun pointed at her head with the caption "as I said by hook or by crook"
Hyunjin clenched his fists , he was gonna go to palace even without any of these efforts from ryujin because after knowing the truth of his mother's death from many resources his guilt was eating him alive
All he could think was how it was never felix or jisoo's fault and how he had betrayed the people who raised him and hurt the one he wasn't ever supposed to

He grabbed his sword , a bag , his phone and hurried to the castle
He surrendered himself to the Royal Family , he was handcuffed and brought inside the castle by guards
Ofcourse he didn't expect any warm welcome from anyone but the cold stare he got from minho made his gut wrench , the way lisa wouldn't even look at him made him want to kill himself
Chan's formal tone while talking to him felt like cold icespears piercing his heart
He fell to his knees infront of Chan with tears spilling from his eyes
"No need to cry crocodile tears mister Hwang , we know your reality and how much of a snake you are " Minho deadpanned his ice cold glare piercing through hyunjin's soul
"Take him to Felix " Chan ordered and Seungmin grabbed Hyunjin by his hair and started dragging him , it hurted hyunjin like hell but who was he to complain he brought all of this on himself by being an idiot driven completely by the sense of Hatred and vengeance

Seungmin dragged him upstairs all the way up to felix's room by his hair and as he entered the room ryujin was sitting there next to Felix
Hyunjin got rid of seungmin's grip and bent down towards ryujin "release her " he whispered and she nodded in response
Hyunjin then looked at Felix and felt all his strength leaving his body
He kept thinking how he had wronged felix , how he became the reason felix would blame himself for the death of two people closest to him
A wave of guilt crashed not only hyunjin's heart but his body
He sat down next to felix
"How long are you gonna stay unconscious your highness , please please wake up please please wake the fuck up and kill me for That is what I deserve " he mumbled
He felt Felix's hand moving and his heart rate increasing almost like life coming back to him , he moved his hands towards felix's Hair and gently carresed his head , ryujin slowly came towards them and removed hyunjin's handcuffs giving him the freedom to move his hands
Hyunjin slipped his other hand in the prince's hand
"Please" he whispered again tears brimming his eyes again but soon he was harshly pulled back by the hair by seungmin causing him to scream
His tear fell down to Felix's face
And maybe his scream or his touch or something else caused felix to open his eyes in an instant
Felix looked to his side and saw seungmin harshly holding hyunjin by his hair
"Le-leave him" Felix whispered
