Cale is once again cursing at the face...

Internally the God of Death was trembling, 'THIS SCARY CHILD! HOW DID HE EVEN!'
"Choi Han..."
The Insect Monarch seemed to grow irritated at the lack of attention, unaware of the eyes now placed on the two.
"So you still have the insolence to act this way?"
She gathered her dead mana poison into strings.
'It is similar to Mary's, but also weaker. Raon would say something like, "She isn't even close to Strong Mary...'
However, the monarch didn't get to use her strings as a pressure broke through the fissure.
It was a sight that gathered everyone's attention.
'A relief.'
Choi Han saw him immediately.
"Cale-nim!"
Perhaps it was the fact he was homesick, or maybe he was just tired.
But his hands shook and he dropped his spear, as fatigue hit him.
Still with the Sound of Wind activated he caught the falling Choi Han.
"Choi Han."
Choi Han supported him, "Cale-nim... just rest I'll take care of it."
"Call me Black Star."
"Understood."
Cale nodded as he let himself land on the ground. Still, he did not rest, supporting Choi Han from the ground using the Sound of Wind.
The blood now fell from his mouth in thick pools.
As Choi Han clashed with the monarch with ever growing frustration.
"Choi Han!"
He went down to Cale's side.
"She has Dead Mana, deal with it quickly."
The monarch had followed them and was nearby, "Oh are you giving up? Planning to run?"
With a flick of Cale's hand, Choi Han attacked. His aura with much vigor attacked the monarch.
This time it was not nearly a close fight. Choi Han's sword and the monarch's claws did not cross, it was Choi Han who led the fight as his sword cut her to pieces.
'This damn god! I'll smack him in the back.'
"Star-nim!"
He coughed up blood as his consciousness faded to darkness.
Amidst the darkness, Cale was awakened in his sub-space.
[*SNIFF* CALE YOU FINALLY WOKE UP! MY CHILDDDDD]
'Ugh...God of Death...'
[DON'T BE LIKE THATTTT! CALL ME ABYSS!]
Ignoring his words he asked, 'Where is this?'
[YOUR SUB-SPACE]
'Shouldn't you have brought me into yours?'
[WELL IF YOU WERE A NORMAL HUMAN I WOULD—]
'I am a normal human.'
[...CALE...UGH... YES, DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOUR BODY AND SOUL HAVE EVOLVED AROUND RECORD. ABOVE ALL SINCE YOU ARE ACCUSTOMED TO DEATH I'M ABLE TO ENTER YOUR MIND LIKE THIS.]
'Then my ability has evolved?'
[CORRECT.]
'How did Choi Han get here?'
[THAT IS...]
'Did he offer more of his lifespan?'
[NO, HE DIDN'T...]
'Ugh...when will I wake up?'
[A FEW HOURS]
'Great.'
Cale decided to ignore the nuisance called abyss and looked around his subspace. It was different from how he thought it would be.
'I thought it would be like a library.'
[IT EVOLVED.]
He nodded acknowledging it.
His subspace was more like a hall, a grand hall. The walls were as tall as the black castle gates and frames adorned the walls.
Walking through the hall he watched as the frames changed, showing the memories should he glance at it.
The further he walked the longer the hall seemed.
'When does it end?'
[YOU WON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO SEE THEM ALL.]
'Hm.'
He blinked and the scene changed.
"Ugh—"
"Black star-nim!"
It was Choi Han.
And a few others.
"Where are we?"
"Still on the island. I didn't know what to do so I stayed here."
Choi Han looked at the others, "They wouldn't leave."
"Is that so."
He sighed and sat up.
"How long has it been."
"3 hours 27 minutes and 43 seconds."
Cale frowned before standing up shaking the dirt from himself.
'What are you Raon?'
Choi Han looked at the others more cautiously as Cale spoke calmly.
"Why are you here?"
"We couldn't just leave our savior here."
"Is that so."
