I froze as I heard the sound I've only ever heard once before and said Waylon watch my pups as I ran following the sound of copper's howling. I frowned as I found him and froze, seeing him limping and saying, "What happened? Where's  Granny Rose? Copper sighed and pointed to a lump a short distance away. I frowned as I walked over and sniffed her and froze as I smelled the odor of blood and spotted bite wounds and a large Tear in  her right shoulder. I frowned and gently nuzzled her and whispered Granny? I smiled as she whispered, "Is he gone? I frowned and said, "Is who gone? She growled and said, "The bastard coyote that snuck up on me who else? I looked at copper and said coyote? Copper nods and says we were on our way back when the Coyote tried to  rape us. Granny fought him off, but in the process, she got hurt, and I stupidly tried to chase him but ended up getting bit. I frowned and said, "Where?" Copper turned to show a large bite on his rump and said he said he'd be paying me a visit again soon. I growled and said, "Not on my watch." I blushed as copper said and What makes you so sure you can do anything to stop it? I growled darkly and said I know I've always portrayed myself as all bark and no bite, but trust me, when I'm truly pissed I can hold my own in a fight. I smiled and said I bet you yield in the first round. I growled and said Don't play with me bitch or you'll find out who'll yield.
