Seven thousand years after Raph, I came along. Like Raphael, I was a little baby, but I only had one pair of golden wings. When I was created, I was at the equivalent age of a one year old.

Luciel was nodding his head as Raphael was rambling on about potential names for his river. For goodness sakes, just choose a name! It took Michael and me a hundred years max to choose a name for our rivers, not seven thousand years, Luciel thought to himself.

"So, what do you think?" Raphael asked expectantly to Luciel.

Luciel quickly responded the same answer as usual, "What ever name you think is right."

Raphael scowled at Luciel. "You have said the same thing for over a thousand years. Can't you think of something else?"

Luciel shrugged and made an exaggerated frown, "No, I can't. That's the only advice I have for you."

Raph groaned and stomped away leaving Luciel alone by the fourth river. That temper could use some work...

Luciel sat by the bank listening to the river wash against the sandy shore. The wind blew peacefully, singing a soft, gentle melody in his ear. Luciel laid on his back watching the clouds fly by. Today, Father had given his brothers and him a day of rest. After fighting the Darkness for thousands of years, Luciel had grown accustomed to being a wave of celestial light, fighting the oncoming shadows.

Luciel closed his eyes letting the peace wash over him. After meditating for a few hours, Luciel felt a jolt of grace appear near him. He quickly sat up and raced towards the Tree of Good and Evil that was in the center of the garden. As he flew over the trees, he saw Michael landing by the tree.

Luciel landed next to Michael and asked, "You felt it as well?"

Michael nodded, "Yes."

Luciel gripped Michael's hand and slowly approached the tree. He knew is couldn't be evil since it was full of grace, yet he couldn't help feeling nervous. He saw what was at the foot of the tree, he couldn't help but 'aww' at the sight. It was a baby angel with two golden wings. The baby cooed at his brothers.

Luciel let go of Michael's hand and picked up the angel baby. He turned around excitedly at Michael, "Look at what Father has sent." He looked down at the baby grinning like a madman.

God appeared behind Michael and smiled. "He is your new brother. His name is Gabriel and you will need to care for him Luciel. I need Michael and Raphael to fight the Darkness so you must raise Gabe and teach him the ways of an angel." He took Gabriel from Luciel and rocked him for a bit, his love shining in his eyes. He returned the baby and hugged Luciel, "Take care of him." He disappeared to continue fighting the Darkness.

Luciel couldn't help but notice that his father was beginning to tire. He felt worried for the safety of his father. After wandering in his mind, he smiled at Michael. "Isn't Gabriel perfect?! Look at how beautiful his wings are!" He rested Gabe on his shoulder as if he were going to burp him, spreading one of his wings to show the form and color.

Michael smiled at the baby, "He is beautiful." He carried the baby and rocked him.

Raphael flew in behind Luciel and shouted excitedly, causing Luciel to jump in fright. "I know the name of my river now! Its name shall be Haddakel!"

Michael grinned at Raphael, "You do realize that it means to prick, right?"

Raphael shrugged, "It felt right. Thinking of a name has been a prick on my side."

Luciel snorted in amusement, "I could tell." He turned the conversation back to the baby, "Oh, we have a new brother by the way. Thought you would like to know."

Raphael raised his eyebrows, "Was his creation that strange feeling I got a while ago?"

Michael nodded, "Yes. You also missed Father. Either way, his name is Gabriel and Luciel is going to raise him."

Luciel couldn't help but feel a burst of pride when Michael said the last bit.

Raphael grinned at Luciel, "Congratulations! You get a few thousand years to raise him without fighting the Darkness." He rolled his eyes, "Lucky wings." He smirked, "Anyways, I am going to now admire the Haddakel." He turned around and flew back to the river.

Michael watched their brother fly off. He turned towards Luciel seriously, "Ok, this time... Make sure this angel has a sense of humor. Raphael has the sense of humor of a rock."

Michael played with Gabriel while Luciel watched from the side, both smiling at the giggles the baby would make.

Once Father called Michael, he returned the baby to Luciel and said his goodbyes, leaving Luciel alone with Gabriel.

Luciel looked down on his brother and said, "So baby brother, let's learn all about being an angel."

Gabriel grinned widely and wiggled his eyebrows.

The parts are going to get a bit longer. I am just trying to kind of set up the story though.
