*creak... creak...*
There's something really... odd about this place. It's ominous, like those horror movies and myths you manage to grasp from the grapevine.
It's dark. And it smells... weird. Mafuyu expected it to be dark, of course, but also wet... but it seemed that the seemingly "abandoned house" was still in good condition. How...?
Out of nowhere, a new, yet familiar smell filled the room... food. Specifically meat, perhaps pork.
Yes, it started to feel even more strange. It almost felt like a sick prank, but this was obviously different.
This wasn't funny. But the curtain Mafuyu saw move... what gives? It couldn't just up and move itself, could it? And telling from what she could see and smell, one thing became obvious:
She was not alone.
As she approached what looked like a blank, framed image, the glass reflected her... along with glowing orbs which came from behind her. Hesitantly, Mafuyu slowly turned around to find the orbs were actually three pairs of glowing eyes in the darkness.
They seemed ticked off..
And not one bit welcoming.
