Kanade has always written songs like confessions - quiet, fragile things meant to save one person. Mafuyu has always listened like someone standing at the edge of nothing. When Kanade begins composing a piece she refuses to name, she tells herself it isn't a farewell. It's just another song. Just another promise. But every lyric sounds like a last wish, every melody feels heavier than the one before. Mafuyu starts to change - to feel - just as Kanade begins to fade. And by the time the music is finished, Mafuyu realizes the truth: Some songs aren't meant to be performed. Fantasy au of Pjsk where Mafuyu falls for Kanade and Ena falls for Mizuki- and of course, there is angst. Of course there is. Kanade: Mage, demon/monster hunter, just wants to protect people and avenge her late mother- should I note she's rare-blooded? Mafuyu: Vampire Princess, depressed, forced to stay inside. She retty honest, although she suffers from an extreme attraction to blood- I wonder why... Ena: Wandering Artisan, blunt & sarcastic but kind-hearted. She's not very knowledgeable about monsters & magic. She has low self-esteem. Sells her art to make money. Mizuki: Wandering transfem demon. She's afraid of hurting people, so she distances herself from humans. For some reason, she's never fancied eating or hurting humans (unlike many) NOTE: COVER IS NOT CANON. I JUST NEEDED AN ADJACENT THING OK?? (Although Mizuki's design is pretty canon) I'm trying to finish the N25 Stories so forgive me if I mischaracterize a character; this is absolutely an AU.

Mafuyu, An honor student. Being a role model, she attends class frequently. Student council, and excels in both academics and sports. Achieving her mothers expectations, she acts like a goody-two-shoes. Had lived her life listening to what her mother wants. Pressured to want and think the best for her is what her mother wants. Losing her sense of self as she doesn't even know what she likes. But something she wants? To.. Disappear. Kanade, A composer. Her mother died at a young age due to an illness. Her father, A musician and a composer, made a living through commissions. Kanade was told she was "blessed by music" and has been praised more for her music talents. One day helping her father with a commission more people had commissioned her father. But all his efforts he could not match with Kanade and resulting him going to the hospital due to stress and him overworking himself. This caused Kanade to blame herself and now. What she wants? Is to.. Save people. Story follows the plot of N25's main story with some changes. !!Characters are not mine !! Belongs to Sega and Colorful Palette !! After the JP Project Sekai's latest Mafuyu focus event story "Saying Goodbye to the Masked Me" finished.. I still had some unfinished thoughts and an inspiration to write more because I CANNOT wait for the next Nightcord story events. So I wrote my own spin-off continuation story to wait until then!
