The images disappeared when I heard a loud clang. Shaking off the weird sensations that tried to bury my senses, I followed the sounds of swords clashing.

Soon enough I found myself in a massive room with intricate designs from the walls to the stone floors. The latter having a sun deign inscribed on the center of the room.

My attention was quickly turned back to the battle before me as I saw Link land a blow on a mysterious figure.

His monochrome skin was covered in a pure white leotard with diamond cut-outs throughout it. His movements were graceful almost as if he was toying with Link. Before I could even process anything, the man turned around and our eyes locked.

A figured dressed in celestial garb gracefully walked through the heart of the stone temple. Upon the ground with an engraved sundial, was a pedestal with a golden harp.

The figure grabbed the harp gently. Her fingers danced against the harp's strings which produced a somber melody.

"Day to night, dark to light,
Fall the sands of time.
Let the years, like the gears
Of a clock unwind.

In your mind walk through time
Back to better days.
Memories, like a dream,
Wash tears away."

All throughout the land, the destruction and fires seemed to dissipate as they were restored to their former glory. The land's green grass spread across the endless meadows and fields, and all sounds of agony disappeared.

"You do realize he will be here in the next lunar cycle..."

"I know my brother, Your Grace."

"Very well, my child," The woman with silky golden locks sighed as she lifted the other woman's chin with her hand. "Be careful. War is upon us, and unfortunately you will have to strike him down."

The white goddess disappeared in a shower of light leaving the younger woman alone as a dark haze began to overcome the room.

"I thought she'd never leave."

The woman turned just to meet with the obsidian-eyed stare of the demon before her. He looked down on her as he pressed his gloved hand against her neck, eliciting a hum from her. Her brilliant (eye color) eyes sparkled as the haze inhabiting the room lessened.

"Ghirahim," she whimpered as he squeezed her throat.

The man sighed as he rested his forehead against the woman's. His other hand went to her hair as he pulled her closer to him. He leaned near her ear with his hot breath fanning on her neck where his hand previously was.

"Your time is running out. You know my master's terms... surrender now or he will take the Triforce by force."

Clang!

Before I knew it, the man had me pinned against the stone wall. His body caging mine in as his sword disappeared into a flurry of diamonds while mine laid on the ground.

"(Name)!" Link yelled from across the room.

However, the white-haired man snapped his fingers and Link was sent flying back. I couldn't see what had happened as my vision was blocked.

My head was still spinning trying to register the flashing images and memories that began to push themselves to the forefront of my mind.

"Ghirahim?"

I was shocked when the name left my lips. I had never met another named 'Ghirahim' in my entire life. It was so absurd that in a flash, I had not only known this stranger's name but felt this great pull to him.

His deep obsidian eyes bore into mine. I felt as if I knew his eyes as if I had stared into them a thousand times over.

"You." He seethed.

Ghirahim was cut short as Link's blade cut through his side. Ghirahim turned just as Link dealt him another blow across his face.

He jumped back, wiping his gloved hands against his face.

"Well... You put up more of a fight than I would have thought possible out of such a soft boy. But don't clap for yourself quite yet. That sword of yours is the only reason you still live."

Link stepped in front of me, shielding me from our foe. Ghirhaim's eyes darted to me for a second. And for that precious second, the anger and pain dissolved from his body to be replaced with an uncertain look.

"Stay away from her." Link growled.

Ghirahim reganed his composure pointing his rapier at the two of us.

"I fear I spent far too long teasing and toying with you..."

Ghirahim's smooth sultry voice continued but I tuned it all out. There was something about him that captivated me in a way that it really shouldn't have.

For the entire rest of the time, we spent in the temple, I was quiet as my head hurt but also because I couldn't stop thinking about the encounter.
