Author's note: So as I said previously this is a crossover episode between This book and 'My One and only '. The charecter referred to as Mage is wizard Y/n and V is Vampire Y/n. The nicknames is used instead of y/n is because I feel the charecters won't be saying each other name if situation comes like this.

If you see any mention of Y/n it's referred to the Y/n of this book. Thank you. Enjoy

As the evening sun cast a warm glow over the Salvatore mansion, Y/n strode through the door, greeted by the familiar sight of his brothers engaged in their usual banter. Stefan and Damon, clad in their finest attire, were in the midst of preparing for the Founder's Ball, an event steeped in Mystic Falls tradition.

"Ah, look who decided to grace us with his presence." Damon quipped with a smirk, eyeing Y/n's casual attire. "Didn't get the memo about dressing to impress, brother?"

Y/n rolled his eyes playfully, his lips curving into a smirk. "Please, as if a stuffy ball is worth the effort. I have better things to do than prance around in a tuxedo."

Stefan chuckled, shaking his head at Y/n's predictable disdain for formal events. "So you are not coming to the ball then?"

Y/n raised an eyebrow. "I'll pass, thanks. But you two go ahead and enjoy the festivities. Just try not to cause too much chaos, okay? We wouldn't want to tarnish the Salvatore name."

With a smirk and a playful wink, Y/n turned on his heel and headed for the door, leaving his brothers to their preparations. As he stepped out into the fading light of the evening, a sense of purpose filled him, driving him toward the shadows where his true obligations awaited.

Meanwhile, Stefan and Damon exchanged amused glances, it wasn't often when Y/n didn't attend parties, whatever he was upto,it is important to him.

As the minutes ticked by and the moon ascended to its rightful place in the night sky, Y/n found himself standing before the tranquil expanse of the lake nestled deep within the forest. The silvery beams of moonlight danced upon the surface of the water, casting an ethereal glow that illuminated the surrounding trees.

As the final chime of his watch echoed through the stillness, a figure materialized from the shadows, stepping into the moonlit clearing with an air of quiet grace. Y/n's eyes lit up with recognition, a warm smile spreading across his face as he moved forward to greet the newcomer.

"Mage," he exclaimed, his voice tinged with genuine affection as he enveloped the figure in a heartfelt embrace. "It's been quite a while, hasn't it?"

Mage returned the embrace, his presence exuding a sense of calm and wisdom that seemed to transcend the passage of time. "Indeed, it has, my friend" he replied, his voice carrying a soothing cadence that echoed through the stillness of the night.

As they settled into a comfortable rhythm of conversation, old friends reunited after years apart, the memories of their past encounters flowed effortlessly between them. They reminisced about the adventures they had shared, the trials they had overcome, and the bonds that had endured despite the passage of time.

With each word exchanged and each shared moment relived, Y/n felt a sense of nostalgia wash over him, a reminder of the depth of the connection he shared with Mage.

As the conversation continued Y/n asks Mage why has he called him. Mage smiled and replied, "Well there is a gathering at my home. And Hermione thinks I should invite you. So here I am."
