Chapter 0: Old town new goals

'Welp ares you fucked up' the young novelist thought to himself 'you promised you best book so far but you can't do it your a fucking moron what are people gonna think about you.

Ares had been a famous gay romance novelist for quiet a while and he had promised his best work yet but there is one teeny itsy bitsy problem he's had the worst writers block he's had for a while.

He was thinking of what to do when he remembered what he almost always does go back to his hometown.

Usually he'd stay in his parents house with them while he wrote but his parents moved to Italy a while ago he still had the house key and could just ask them but it just didn't feel right.

So he contacted his childhood best friend Edward he was.your stereotypical straight dude fit,loved sports and drinking beer meanwhile Ares was nerdy he liked fallout gremlins and more nerdy shit but somehow they became best friends.

He dialed his friends number *ring ring* "hey buddy how's it hanging?" *Ares asked while adjusting his glasses.*

Edward: "its fine how about you" *Edward said as he paused the movie he was watching*

Ares: "horribly I have some serious writers block and I usually go back to my hometown we're you still live and were we grew up" *Awkward laugh* (can you notice he has no social skills)

Edward: "well I'm sorry to hear that but I still don't know how this relates to me?"

Ares: *breathes in deep and says* "well since my parents moved to Italy I need a place to stay while I could stay in their house it feels lonely so I wondered if" *deep breath* "I can stay at your house for a while"

Edward: "Of course you can buddy anything for you just tell me when you will arrive and how long you will stay in town for" *
Takes a sip from a beer he's drinking*

Ares: "I don't know for how long I'm staying until the writers block clears out probably" *he plays with his hair* "and I should arrive in the next two to three days"

Edward "oh sure bud ill be waiting bye" *hangs up*

Welp it was settled be was going back to his home town so Ares started packing
