CHAPTER 9: "Art"

We've spent 2 months of our relationship already. We're still happy. Tila ba perfect ang lahat para sa amin. But after our 2nd monthsary, we've encountered different challenges. Like jealousy, envy, busy schedule sa school, and our differences.

Oneday, I invited Angela to come with me sa "Mindanao Art" exhibit. It's an annual art exhibit for local artists sa mindanao. Sadly hindi s'ya pinayagan ng parents nya. So, she told me na si Chrisse nalang isama ko since we both are fan of arts and mahilig din akong pumunta sa galleries. So, I went to Min Art with Chrisse and suddenly, nakita nakita ako ni Jessy.

"Hi James! Long time no see" masayang bigkas ni Jessy sa akin.

"Oh, hi!" Mailang na sagot ko sa kanya.

"I wasn't expecting to see you here sa Min Art" sabi nya sa akin.

"Me too, I wasn't expecting to see you here. By the way, this is Chrisse, she's my friend" pinakilala ko si Chrisse kay Jessy.

"Nice meeting you Chrisse. Are you into arts too like James?" Tanong ni Jessy.

"Nice meeting you too Jessy. Yup! We've been doing art class ni JJ since bata pa kami." Sagot ni Chrisse.

"Good to know! Do you want to roam around with me?" Jessy asked.

"Sure!" chrisse replied.

"I'll pass. I like to be alone right now" sabi ko sa kanila.

"Don't be rude JJ. Jessy invited us oh." Sabi ni Chrisse sa akin.

"Ok, fine!" I answered.

So, the three of us roam around and explore different kinds of artworks. Then, there was this painting that caught my attention. It's a painting about a person experiencing depression. The painting is an half naked woman na maraming kamay ang humahawak sa kanya. It feels like she was drowning with problems, that she can't even call for help. I look at it for how many minutes. Hindi ko namalayan na tumabi na pala si Jessy sa akin. I was thinking of deep thoughts about the painting kasi nakakarelate ako.

"How do you find this painting?" Jessy asked me.

"Technically, it's a great painting. Magaling ang pagkagawa and I think the artist puts on her emotions while doing it." I answered.

"Really? I am flattered James" she happily answered.

"Wait, what? Ikaw ang artist nitong painting?" Nagulat ako sa sinabi nya.

"Look at the signature" she pointed out the lower right part of the painting.

"Akala ko you're not into arts. Diba nagpadrawing ka Pa nga sa akin?" I told her.

"Wala naman akong sinabi na I'm not into arts" sabi nya sa akin.

After a few hours of enjoying Min Art, umuwi na kami ni Chrisse at nagpaiwan si Jessy.

"See you sa school Jessy, bye!" Chrisse said.

"Bye Chrisse and JJ" She replied.

While we are talking pala, Chrisse took pictures and posted it on fb. With a caption "The art and the people who loves arts"

I don't have any idea about Chrisse's post. Then, I received a chat from Angela.

"How was the Min Art MyPa? Parang enjoy na enjoy ka with Jessy ah. Akala ko si Chrisse lang kasama mo." Angela's chat.

Nagtaka ako sa chat ni Angela so I asked Chrisse.

"Oie! Ano na naman ginawa mo? Bat galit na naman si Angela sa akin?" I asked.

"Abay,ewan ko sa inyo. Nagpost lang naman ako sa fb about Min Art." Sabi ni Chrisse sa Akin at pinakita nya ang post nya.

"Nako naman Chrisse. Alam mo naman na pinagseselosan ni Angela si Jessy. Bat mo pinost yan. Lagot ako nito." Sabi ko kay Chrisse.

"Hala! Sorry JJ. Nakalimutan ko." She told me.

So, I replied to Angela.

"Hi MyPa ko. Hindi ako masyadong nag enjoy sa Min Art kasi wala ka. About kay Jessy, I didn't invite her, nagkita lang kami with Chrisse, like random meeting lang doon. No need to worry po" I replied.

"Too late nagselos na ako. Obvious masyado na masaya ka sa picture na magkatabi kayo." She responded.

"MyPa, there's no need to get jealous po. Chrisse can justify to you po." I replied.

"What ever!" She replied.

"MyPa naman. Sorry if you feel that way rn. I think valid naman yang nafefel mo ngaun kasi nakita mo ako sa pic na may kasama, tapos sa pinagseselosan mo pa. I'm sorry MyPa." I apologized to her kahit na wala akong kasalanan.

"Let's talk tomorrow." Malamig nyang reply sa akin.

"Are you going to breakup with me MyPa? 😭😭😭" I replied.

"Sira ka ba! We will talk lang naman. I love you kaya. Bat naman ako makikipag break? If there's a problem sa rs natin, we need to talk and try to solve it. Don't over think, ok? I love you. Kahit galit ako ngaun." She replied.

"Thank you MyPa. I love you too. Ok po, let's talk tomorrow." I replied.

Ewan ko ba, mahirap basahin ang utak ng babae. Pero, minsan may point naman sila kung nag-eexplain sila. Pero minsan hindi ko talaga magets, especially kung wala silang explanation sa mga toyo nila sa utak. Well, I think part sa isang relationship ang pagkakaroon ng misunderstandings.

Angela is right. If there is a problem, dapat pag-usapan and try to fix it. I was thinking na mas nagugustuhan ko Pa s'ya lalo kasi sobrang matured nya kung mag-isip. I am so blessed to have her.
