Winter dance I'm going with Zach when I told Justin who I was going with he called Zach and told him not to try anything.
I'm talking to Justin when we see Clay walk by "Clay" Justin says "Clay" I say "Jensen" Justin says one more time and he turns around. "Hey Justin, Brooke." He said, "That's a pretty picture you took of Tyler." Justin says
"Not as pretty as the one he took of Hannah," Clay says
"You made your point." Jusin says "Now shut it down." We both say
"You know I hate when you guys do that." He says "'Shut it down?' Who talks like that?" He says and Justin and I look at each other.
"This is beyond just us now. This is the whole school. If we fall, you go down with us." Justin says
"Maybe I don't care," He says
"You should," I say and Justin and I start walking away when Clay grabs my wrist making me face him.
"Are you on the tapes?" He asks
"Stop asking questions, Clay," I say and walk away.
The winter formal is where Justin and Jess became friends. Zach and I danced the whole night.
I'm in the car with Justin, Alex, and Zach when they see Clay on the side of the road riding his bike home and we cut him off and Justin gets out.
"What the hell?" He asks
"Wanna go for a ride real quick?" Justin asks him. Then we all get out.
"We think you do," Zach says then he takes Clay's bike.
"You're in on this?" Clay asks me
"I'm making sure that they're not doing anything stupid," I say crossing my arms.
"Get in the car," Justin says
"Come on, I'll take you home," Alex says
"Why are you doing this?" Clay asks Alex.
"What else am I going to do?" Alex says
"I don't understand," Clay says
"You will. Just get in the car." I say Clay gets in the front and I'm in the middle between Justin and Zach and I look over to Justin and he gives me the same look.
It's now dark out and Alex stops the car. "What are you guys doing?" Clay asks
Then Alex turns off his lights and he steps on the gas. "We know what you did to Courtney," Justin says
"Alex, Slow down," Clay says but Alex keeps going faster.
"You know, you've got to stop fucking with people, Clay," Justin says
"Just slow down," Clay says "Ok I will just slow down, Alex!"
"I'll stop," He says
"Okay, ease up, we're good," Justin says but Alesx doesn't
"Alex, I think he gets it. Slow down." Zach says and I look at Justin.
"Alex slow down!" I yell. But he goes faster
"What the hell, dude, slow down!" Zach yells
We run a red light then we see a police car. "Oh shit, Alex. Alex, seriously, slow the duck down." Just says
"Alex!" I yell and he finally pulls over.
"Ever been to jail before?" Alex asks
The officer comes up to the window and says "Okay, you guys want to tell me why you're going 90 in a 40?"
"We were just out for a ride," Alex says
"We're sorry, officer." Justin and I say
"Yeah, well I could bust you for reckless driving. Do you know how much that ticket would be? Five hundred dollars and three points on your license. You want that?" He asks
"No sir," Alex says
"I suggest you drop these boys and girl off and get your ass home in time for dinner." He says and Zach, Justin, and I all look confused.
"All right. You be home in time?" Alex asks
"Tell Mom to save me a plate," He says "And stick to the speed limit, kid. 'Cause next time, I'll ticket you." He adds
"Night Dad," Alex says and everyone is silent.
"Your dad's a cop?" I ask
"Yep," Alex says
"That's fucking brilliant!" Justin says
"No shit," Zach says
"You can't touch us, Clay." Justin says "You got that? We're fucking bulletproof." He adds
Then Alex takes us home.
