Hello reader, welcome to the second short fiction of this incredible anthology! I'm excited that you've chosen to carry on with your explorative instinct for this particular compilation.
I hereby introduce the second short Story, which goes by the title 'SOPHY-SITUATED'.
It is briefly about Sophy, a frequent Tiktoker and an accounts student on her internship. Her passion lays more in creating and editing girly videos not only on Tiktok but also on Instagram. Her character seems common but she won't bow down to opposition pressure.

I began writing SOPHY-SITUATED in September 2022, a few months after I'd published Ice Cream Treasure but I halted the Story's creation due to a tight college program. I resumed its writing in early 2023 in preparation for the 2024 Commonwealth Short Story Prize. I'd intended for the Story to take part in the 2023 edition but the forced break couldn't allow me to submit the work to the competition promptly. Therefore, I postponed my participation.
SOPHY-SITUATED didn't make it to the prize's shortlist but rather, it made it further up my pride radar and I vow to push it on and on just like I'm still doing with Ice Cream Treasure.
In the image below is Sophy Nakanwagi, the Main Character of this short fiction, the second to Ice Cream Treasure in the TB Stories. Thus, she is the second Main Character of the anthology.
