Enemies To Lovers

~Chapter 1~

Aurora Woods is 15 years old, she was born in Tokyo, Japan. When she was 9 years old, she moved to Los Angeles, California, US. Aurora was the smartest kid in school, she was the topper in every class, scoring the best on her first day of school. She was a full package for guys, smart, kind, and pretty. Aurora's best friend was different, her was Esther. Esther is pretty, and she can be kind, but she never studied and usually failed her classes. One day, at Esther's house, Aurora came to help her study. "Rora, do you have to help me study?" Esther asked. "YES, your mom asked me to, and I don't want you to fail," Aurora answered back. Esther rolled her eyes and groaned.

~AURORA'S POV~

"Oh yeah, Rora, I heard there's this new kid named Justin, and I heard he's hot!"

Esther was saying. Ugh, Esther's always like that, she's so boy-crazy. "Okay...so what? We're studying right now, not talking about boys.' I said. "Oh my gosh, I can never say anything around you," Esther said jokingly...kinda?

THE NEXT DAY

I got up, got ready, ate breakfast, and walked to Esther's house so we could walk to school together. When she came out, she was all dolled up with makeup and hair and everything. "Uhhh...Esther? Special occasion or something?" I asked confused. "Yea! That new kid is coming to school! I want him to think I'm hot if I start to like him or something!" Esther answered. "You're so obssed with that random dude," I said. "No, I'm not! But, I heard he's really smart! Maybe, smarter than you!" Esther said jokingly. I laughed. "Esther, you know that no one is smarter than me!" I said jokingly too...but not really...it's true. We got to school and sat down at our seats the teacher walked in my that new kid behind her. "Hello class, good morning, this is Justin Yang. He moved here from China, but he knows how to speak English very fluently! I hope that you all make him feel welcome." Mrs. Johnson said. "Justin, please go sit there beside Esther please." Mrs. Johnson said as she pointed to the empty seat beside Esther.

~NARRATOR'S POV~

Esther thought they new kid, Justin was very hot. "WOW, HE'S SO HOT! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GET TO SIT BESIDE HIM!" Esther thought. All the girls in class were starstruck, well except Aurora. "Hi!" Esther said to Justin while twirling with her curly orange hair. "Hey," Justin said, without even looking at Esther, he was just getting something out of his bag. "Playing hard to get? I see..." Esther thought. "Okay class, are you ready for the test we are having today, I hope you guys have studied." Mrs. Johnson said while handing the papers out. "Oh, and Justin, you don't have to do the test, because you just got here." Mrs. Johnson explained. "No, that's fine, I'll do it." Justin protested. "Are you sure? Then, alright." Mrs. Johnson agreed and gave Justin the sheet. Everybody started doing the test, and it seemed that everybody was struggling except Aurora and Justin. Aurora had just finish the last question and then Justin got up and handed it, IN LESS THEN 10 MINUTES. Aurora was pissed. She quickly wrote and handed it in.

~ESTHER'S POV~

After class ended, I caught up with Rora. "Rora, how did he finish before you?" I said jokingly. She just ignored me and kept a serious face. Did I make her mad or something? "Rora...are you okay? Are you mad at me?" I asked worryingly. 'It's nothing..." she answered. I realized that maybe she was jealous or something that Justin finished before her. Later, in the day, Justin and Aurora would fight to see who would get the answer first or who would get it correct. "The answer is 502!" Justin yelled out. "It's 504!" Rora protested. They got annoying and just kept fighting and then they both got sent to detention. Damn, Rora gets to be in detention with Justin! I'm jealous! But, she doesn't even like him, in fact, she hates him. But I just can't get over how handsome he is, and his voice is so heavenly! I think I just got myself a new crush!
