Chapter 2

MALIAH's POV

"Mahlia!" Sigaw ng kung sino man. Humabol sa akin ang babae at akmang hahawakan ako pero hindi niya na iyon itinuloy. They know not to touch me, hindi naman masama na hawakan ako sa kamay pero ayoko kasi yung hahawakan ako ng hindi ko kilala.

"Bakit?" I asked her, and she froze in front of me. I'm taller than her and practically I look like I'm pinning her sa locker ko. Bakit ba kasi napili niyang doon pumwesto? Yumuko ako kaunti para mapantayan ko ang height niya pero parang nanginig naman ito.

"M-meeting d-daw kayo-" Hindi na niya natapos ang dapat niyang sabihin dahil hinimatay na siya. Girls and their uncontrolled libido when they're in front of me. Tumingin ako sa paligid at namataan naman ng mata ko si Caius na nakatitig sa amin.

"Bring her to the clinic, thank you." I said at naglakad na papunta sa opisina ni auntie. She's the only person that will call a meeting at this hour. I mean it's already 6pm at pauwi na dapat ako pero humabol pa talaga si auntie.

I was fuming mad when I left auntie's office. I had to keep an eye on them, hindi ko malaman-laman kung bakit kailangan ko silang bantayan. For pete's sake, kung gusto nila ng bodyguard ay dapat naghire sila sa mga tauhan namin.

"They're important, lalo na si Caius."

Tsk! Ano bang meron sa apat na iyon? Major stockholders ba pamilya nila sa paaralan na ito or sa ospital namin? Auntie didn't say anything besides I should keep an eye and take care of them. It's frustrating.

I went home after the talk with auntie, I don't have nowhere to go naman. I washed myself and put on clean pajama set tsaka bumaba. Our mom doesn't like eating kapag hindi kami kumpleto sa hapag-kainan, unless magpapaalam ka sa kanya na nakakain ka na.

Umupo na ako sa gitna ng dalawa kong kapatid and mom started praying. Dad keeps on treating her like a queen (as he should) and mom on the other hand waits until he's finished. She's a dominant girl as well, sa kanya ko nakuha ugali ko. As soon as we took our first bite, daddy starts yapping.

"How's your day?" Daddy said. As you can see, mommy is nonchalant, daddy is super oa. My two little persons starts talking about their day and when it's my time, I looked at my dad deadly in his eyes. He's trembling, he's not scared of anything, unless mom and her first child, me.

"W-why?" He asked me. The tone in his voice made my mommy looked at us. "What is it?" Mom asked while smiling, she knows.

"Who's that four exchange students?" I asked them both. My mom leaned back in her seat then she looked at my dad to give me some piece of information. Bumuntong hininga si daddy and he started explaining shits to me.

"I'll start with Devina Lehman, the only girl in their group. She's the daughter of one of the major stockholder sa Hanami University. Her family ownsa restaurant. Apparently, hindi naman talaga yan ang target ng auntie mo, as well as yung dalawa niyang kaibigan na lalaki." He said at napatango-tango na lang ako.

"Next, the red hair guy, Theron Kairos Garcia. The only son of Garcia clan na major stockholder sa hotel & resort ng tito mo. They own a 5 star hotel as well."

"The silver haired guy is Arlo Cruz, their family owns a private hospital and tumulong sila na palaguin ang isa nating hospital sa Brunei."

"The last guy, Caius Dax Laurent. Ayaw mo kasing makinig kapag may business meeting at lagi kang nasa office ko. Laurent's family is-" His phone rang.

He excused himself kaya napatingin ako kay mommy para ituloy ang kinukwento ni daddy. She looked at me and she smirked, indicating that she doesn't want to tell a story.
