Chapter 35

"Yeah, I know. Just come quickly, okay?" He hanged up the phone, and sighed.

"I don't understand why you need them alive Damien," I said.

"Look, I need answers and I know my people do too. I know, I should of told you my plan. At least you only killed one."

"At least?" I raised my voice.

"Lacy, it's over. You save this future you can go home now. Do you not realize that?" He told me.

"But there's more to the building-"

"Yes, but we have all the scientists. Brave destroyed their main growing room, and me and my team and deal with the left overs."

"Should I go now?" I said unsure of what to do next.

"Yes, of course they're waiting for you. Look kiddo you're pretty great. I haven't known you very long at all, but you're a pretty cool girl. You're going to fix all this, okay, I know it," He gave me a big hug, and patted me on the back. "Now go. What are you waiting for?" He gave a slight smile, I could see sadness in it though.

"This feels very rushed," I felt sad quite sad now.

"I know, but you need to go where you belong. You did what you needed to here, and I will miss you, I know we will meet again. We have to right."

"I will come back to check up on you one day, and I'll tell you all the amazing things I've done."

"Be a hero, kiddo. Goodbye," he pulled me in for one final hug, then he let go,

I waved at him for a couple seconds, then turned my back and headed off. This day just seemed to be a big mash up. First I find out my dragon can talk, and is from the future made from future Damien. Of course throwing me off a because I thought he was dead, then I'm here and Brave is gone and the future is saved. This is definitely not how I expected this day to go. I walked out the building realizing I had my watch on. Of course I knew I can time travel literally at my reach, but somehow it escaped my brain.

"Let's try this out," I turn the watch back on. Apparently it turned off itself. It turns back on and I go to, to set in the coordinations. I set in the year 2350 at 5:30. "Just in time to save them." I hit the 'go to' button and I felt myself being transported.

My head hurt as I was till being thrown around time. Being thrown between two different life times. Finally I began to see the sky it looked clearer. "Am I-" I cut myself when I saw the well I fell in that caused this whole adventure. I walked away from it, so there would be no way I would fall back into that. Looking at my watch, I realized I only had ten minutes to save Terry, and everyone else. I ran as fast as I possibly could. Seeing many clones in the distant staring at me. "Shit," I breath hoping they don't follow me. After two minutes of running at full speed while avoiding all creatures, I saw the building in the distant. I pushed my body even harder to make it to the building faster. Finally I came to the building, and ran up to the door.

"Let me in!" I banged on the door.

Not even two seconds later I saw Terry. I felt tears start to form, and l quickly grabbed her, and hugged her tighter than I ever had before. It surprised her a bit, but she hugged me back.

"Where'd that come from?" She asked as closed the door, and locked it with her free hand.

"I thought I would never see you again. I thought I would never see anyone else from this time again," I told her feeling a tear stream down my cheek.

Her facial expression changed when she saw the tear. "What happened to you out there? Did you get hurt?" she seemed severely worried.

"No, no it's just a long story okay? I need everyone else to hear it."

"I'll get them, okay?"

I nodded.

I waited a second and saw Dr. Peters, Logan, and Peyton. The moment they saw me they saw me they seemed to be a bit relieved.

"I was so worried for you," Logan said as he came closer to me.

"I know I'm sorry for just running off like that," I apologized.

"No, no it's not your fault. That was some heavy information on you. It wasn't fair to just out of the blue tell you, I am sorry," he told me.

"I'm over it. I'm a clone, and I'll have to deal with that,"

They all looked at me shocked.

"Why are you taking it so well now?" Peyton asked me.

"I learned something. From the help of my new friends, but before I tell you about any of that there's something important I need to warn you guys about,"I told them.

"What?"

"I don't know what's going to happen, but in two minutes, I think some creatures are going to attack us and unfortunately win."

"You think?" Logan blurted out.

"No, I know. Listen to me I know this-"

We all jumped at the sound of explosions. There was a explosion every second practically, and it seemed to be coming closer to us.

"Okay, everyone grab a gun we are-"

"Logan, I got this let me handle this," I started to walk towards the door.

"Stop!" He yelled.

I stopped, and turned around. "I can handle this okay? I knew this was going to happen, and I am going to stop it from ever happening,"

"It sounds like a army out there. Don't go alone."

I sighed, and used my power to knock them all out even my best friend.

"Sorry guys," I opened up the door, then closed it behind. I look around for the noise.

Another explosion happened, and ran towards it "why are you running towards it?" I asked myself in my mind as I ran. Finally I saw what it was, it was a army of creatures blowing up holes in the ground.

"Guys," I said.

They drew their attention to me. A couple started coming towards me. I got ready to kill them until a man pick his hand in the air.

"Stop!" The man yelled.

The creatures listened to him, and took a few steps back to where they originally were.

"If it isn't Lacy Sterling," he grinned.

"How do you my name?" I said in shock.

"I mean come on who's that stupid to think they can take on a while army of my creatures. It had to be the one and only Lacy."

"No, you can't be,"I whispered.

"Oh, don't you see the resemblance?" He laughed.

"Why are you here?" I asked in anger.

"Why else?" He said. "To kill you."

I laughed.

"Something funny?"

"No, I am the one killing you," I grinned not caring the side of me I try to hide is finally out. The killer in me.
