Sienna - The bystander gazes

Today is the day he will be getting married. The one I have loved my whole life; he will be getting married to Elaine Jade. The infamous eldest daughter of Vincent Jade. He was mine from the start so why? My Arthur. I was the one who was supposed to be married to him. I was supposed to be Sienna Aron, So why?

Today will be the day I’ll be attending my love’s wedding with a woman he hates.  He hates her from his core, why? I don’t know.

With all these thoughts. I work up my courage and enter the halls. The most beautiful wedding venue I have ever witnessed.

I gasped, as I looked at him.

I have seen him in many ways but today he’s looking like a work of art.

He is standing with an understated elegance, like a classic piece of artwork in a modern gallery. His presence commands attention without effort, exuding quiet strength and confidence.

I have always seen him in a happy aura. Always having a smile on his face. Sunshine of every party.

But today, clad in a tailored suit of fine fabric, he cuts a striking figure against the backdrop of the grand hall, each movement imbued with a sense of purpose and poise.

From his posture to the way he moves his hands, there's a certain elegance about him that's hard to miss. It's like he's mastered the art of composure effortlessly.

This is the first time I’m sensing a difference between him and me, a difference that can’t be terminated with even utmost efforts.

Lost in the beauty and grand halls, I’m pulled back with an announcement.

“The bride to be, Elaine Jade, daughter of Vincent Jade enters”

From my vantage point at the periphery of the grand hall, I observe the unfolding scene with a mixture of fascination and discomfort.

The bride, she is Elaine Jade.

The bride, resplendent in her ivory gown, descends the staircase with an air of regal elegance, her every movement exuding an otherworldly beauty.

The site looks exactly as if it is out of a fairytale.

I never expected her to look like this.

This beautiful? This composed? This perfect?

The halls are filled with the most dazzling decorations and people. This is the wedding of centuries. The marriage between the two most powerful families in France.

People are talking and laughing around but my eyes are only on the people who are getting married today.

The air between them seems cold..... so cold that it can frost the entire halls.

They are standing against each other like they are going to murder each other, not with any weapons but with eyes.

Seems like the one who will speak first will lose.

None of them is ready to break the ice.

A look at them and their presence screams for itself. They look perfect!.........they look beyond perfect! How is this possible to look this perfect? Made for each other. Unapproachable.

There is only one difference I can notice. That is their expression when they look at each other.

Elaine is standing with a poker and unapproachable face, just like a doll that can be turned and twisted but can’t be made yours. As if her soul and heart are concealed in other realms, and only her body is here.

And

Aurther, as if he saw what he hated most in this whole wide world, his face showed it. His eyebrows went down, making his eyes look smaller and meaner. His lips went up in a sneer, showing his teeth. He wrinkled his nose and moved back a little, like he wanted to get away from it. You could tell just by looking at him how much he couldn't stand it.
