Chapter 2: Preparations

With their decision made, the group dove headfirst into preparations for their journey to Algeria. Adam, Lyla, Zayn, Amanda, Marcus, and Hannah gathered in Adam's cramped apartment, surrounded by stacks of research materials and maps of the North African country.

Adam's excitement was palpable as he paced back and forth, his mind racing with plans and possibilities. "We need to make sure we're prepared for anything," he declared, his voice tinged with urgency.

Lyla nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the room as she ticked off items on her mental checklist. "We'll need to research the culture, the history, the language," she murmured, her voice lost in thought.

Zayn, ever the practical one, busied himself with packing his camera equipment, ensuring that they would have everything they needed to capture every moment of their adventure. "We'll need extra batteries, memory cards, backup cameras," he muttered to himself, his fingers flying over the buttons of his camera.

Amanda lounged on the couch, her feet propped up on the coffee table as she scrolled through her phone. "I'll take care of booking the flights and accommodations," she announced, her voice barely audible over the sound of her typing.

Marcus, the voice of reason, sat at the kitchen table, poring over maps and guidebooks with a furrowed brow. "We need to have a plan," he insisted, his voice firm. "We can't just wander into Algeria blindly."

Hannah, ever the optimist, tried to lighten the mood with a smile. "We'll be fine," she reassured her friends, her voice filled with conviction. "We're in this together, no matter what happens."
