Blaze slowly started being friends with Nathaniel, it's clear to him Nathaniel has a different style as where Blaze would not hesitate to kill the enemy Nathaniel would have absolutely destroyed them without a second of mercy, it's one of the things that makes Nathaniel so interesting to blaze, his sense of humanity for every living thing on earth, it makes blaze sometimes think about Nathaniel a lot, more then he would like to admit, during lessons blaze often sketches Nathaniel in his notebook with a smile on his face "he's just my friend and dorm mate" he would say to himself, blaze his favourite moments of his day where: sword fight class where he could kick Felix his ass without mercy and train with Nathaniel, breakfast where he could taste Nathaniel's awesome cooking and break time where he could sit with Nathaniel in the garden.. all his favourite moments are the moments he could be with Nathaniel, he keeps telling himself that that's just coincidence and that Nathaniel is just a good friend cuz why wouldn't he be a friend? He can't be more than just a friend right?

One Wednesday when blaze gets out to the garden he smiles when he notices Nathaniel already sitting there and sits next to him,
"Hey Blaze!" Nathaniel says enthusiast while smiling at blaze, his enthusiasm based a row of flowers to pop up and blaze laughed a little at the sight of this ball of sunshine to pop up flowers, blaze picks the flowers and starts making a flower brown what he puts on Nathaniel's head, his dark black hair makes the red roses pop which blaze liked
"My flower king" blaze says laughing, Nathaniel smiles back slightly blushing when blaze is putting the crown on his head
"Did you know that when flowers can grow back if they end up dying?"
Nathaniel said, he didn't know how to handle the situation and just threw random facts, blaze laughed at Nathaniel's attempt of conversation
"No, no I didn't know"
