The job application was just a random ass office job, and not like the ones in the TV shows, the ones where you rot away doing random ass shit on a computer, but it pays well, so I can't complain.

I close my computer and walk over to the office, they scheduled me in 30 minutes, which is fucking insane by the way, I hope the job isn't as shitty as the walk there.

While I'm walking, my mind starts to drift off. "I wonder where Emily and Ari are now..." I think to myself. All the people at school that I said I would never miss, suddenly coming back into my mind, one by one, like popcorn.

Megan... Kylar... Kelly... Crispin... all of them are adults like me now... exept Kylar, I think he got held back or some shit. Honestly not suprised.

I mean come on, that man was popping percs and attempting to pick up "bitches" all of senior year. Matter of fact, he only passed junior year because he copied off of Jeffery, it was only when Jeffery was all like: "You really shouldn't be cheating! I'm gonna tell on you..!" In his dumbass fucking anime voice, which, by the way, he's one of those people that's forgettable but also impossible to forget at the same time.

Anyways, then Kylar beat his ass, which was sick, then Kylar got held back, which was super fucking sick! Glad I don't have to deal with him or Jeffery anymore.

I enter the building. Shit looks fancy as fuck, like Beyoncé herself shit on the floors. I'm talking marble floors and luxury counters. I walk up to the front desk lady. The woman's eyes look into mine, and it's none other than Emily.

"Emily? How did you score this job?" I ask, puzzled from seeing her here. "Oh, Hey Nicole! Yeah, I gave up drugs and shit and I started paying attention to jobs opening, and I landed here." Emily says. She looked a lot different than high-school. For one, she ditched her old aesthetic for a more classy "office job" vibe, which makes sense. Then, she dyed her hair a darker blonde than from high-school, completely different person now.

"Oh. I have a job interview here." I mention, looking down at here. "Did your mom force you or something?" Emily asks me as she types something on her computer. "That and I have fines from the school, honestly bullshit if you ask me." I reply, fixing my outfit.

Emily looks on her computer. "Okay, I see you on here, he'll call you whenever he's ready." She says. "Cool. Thanks Em." I say before I walk to the chairs, or "waiting area", which consists of a bunch of blue chairs and those weird rollercoaster looking toys at the doctors office with the beads on them, whatever they're called.

I look around the place, and it looks like a mental asylum, but with marble flooring. Nothing too special exept a few anti-depression posters. Shit like "Don't be depressed when you can have sex!" and "Depression is depressing :(".

"Nicole?" A man calls out. I look over in the direction to see this white guy with a huge ass bald spot on his head. I'm assuming he's the manager, because he's wearing a suit and tie, for some reason. I get up and I walk into his office.

The office is also pretty standard, like he's allergic to secondary colors. Not even kidding, just red, green, blue everything. Red cup, blue computer, green plants, the list goes on.

"Okay Nicole, can you tell me about your previous work experience and how it relates to this position?" The man asks as I sit down. "Uh.. I did school.. and then I graduated." I say. He types something on his computer. "Right, and how do you handle tight deadlines and high-pressure situations?" He asks, looking at me intently.

"I get someone else to do it? What the fuck are these questions?" I say, confused at these questions. "Feisty today, I like that in my employees." He says as he types something on his computer. "I can assume you like something else in your employees..." I mumble to myself before he clears his throat.

"Provide an example of when you had to work in a team to achieve a common goal." He says, waiting for my response. "When I tried sacraficing my mom's cat with my friends for free adderall." I say, shrugging. He types on his computer again.

"Last question." He says before he looks up at me. "Where do you see yourself in your career in the next 5 years?" He questions, raising a brow. "Dead." I say bluntly. He types in his computer.

"You got zero questions even remotely right, but let me tell you something." He says before leaning closer to me. "I love girls like you, so I think I have to hire you, so long as you give me that little attitude of yours." He says with a wink.

"Don't worry, you'll be getting more than attitude." I say bluntly. "Perfect, that's hot." He says. "You found that hot? God dammit." I say, crossing my arms. "I'll email you your times and I'll see you here tommrow." He says, before gesturing me out.

As I walk out, I wonder what the fuck just happened, but I have a message to all the bitches who ever doubted me: Who's working at Burger King, and who has an office job now?

It may not be the best job, but now that I have it, I can confidentally say this:

I'm back ;)
