TWENTY-TWO

The door knocked and I walked too open it, it was a smily Lewis waiting for me, he saw my mad face and he stopped smiling

"Who did this to you? What happened babe?" I can say that Lewis was so questionable about what happened to me

"Leave now" I whispered ready to cry again

"Katerina what happened?" Lewis asked madly "A few hours ago you were happy to come with me in New York and now..."

"You know what happened" I giggled ironically "You know too well what happened!"

"Babe I don't know I swear!" Lewis was in shock, he's a good actor "Tell me what happened and I can fix it"

"Nothing can her fixed now" I replied closing the door at his face "Just leave me alone"

It's silence, probably he left, I would do the same to be honest, I am so mad at Lewis, he lost every single trust in me and now that's the result! He left!

I sat on my couch and I opened the TV, it was a Champions League game between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid so I decided watch it

Meanwhile I told Marc, Jessica and Paul come to my place and watch a movie and order pizza, they all came an hour later

"So let's order a big pepperoni and a big margarita" Marc suggested looking at the menu

"Agree with him!" Jessica said

"I will order" Marc walked a bit away to order the pizza so we stayed just the three of us

"What happened? You were in love with Lewis since six hours ago" Jessica asked and I can say that I need to tell them what happened

"When Marc will come I'll tell you" I nodded smiling

Marc came and he sat next to Jessica stretching his body

"Tell us" Paul said and he took a sip from his beer

"Tell us what?" Marc asked

"About what happened with Lewis and myself" I sighed sad, I told them what happened after I left the track and the incident with Toto in the parking lot and when Lewis came to my house an hour ago

"Okay" Paul said in shock "You had to give him a chance to talk"

"I know yeah but I am still mad! I mean he had to tell me alone!" I said ironically enough that I was going to break the window glass

"Yeah I am sure that Lewis will have a good explanation about what happened!" Jessica agreed "Did Toto said that Lewis told him?"

"No"

"Maybe Lewis didn't talk?" Marc asked "Maybe someone else told Toto about you guys"

I haven't think that, I was so mad that I thought Lewis talked to Toto, I didn't think that

"I will call him" I stood up and walked a bit away to call him, he wasn't answering, he's on the flight to New York, I walked back in the living room "I need a flight to New York"

"I will find you one" Paul grabbed his phone, his father is in British Airways, he is one of the most important shareholders of the airline so he could find me a ticket, after a call he made Paul looked at me smiling "The next flight to New York is leaving in three hours and I booked a ticket from London in first class"

I ran in my room to make my suitcases, I placed in some clothes also for China but I don't know why!

Paul drove me to the airport and I can say that I have the best best friends!

Lewis

"Where is Katerina?" Chris, my best mate, asked

"London" I answered sad "Something happened to her and I don't know what, I gave her some space and I hope she'll be happy"

"I was expecting seeing her today" Chris giggled

"Me too" I answered "Let's go to my house now"

Chris came to the airport to drive me in my apartment here in New York, he's my best mate here and I'm glad that I have someone listening all my boring stuff about Katerina and my life

We arrived in my apartment, Chris left and I got in the bathroom to have a shower thinking what happened to Katerina, I will text her to make sure she's safe and fine, I'll send her some flowers but now it's midnight in London and I don't want to wake her!

I was planning a whole amazing time here in New York for us and now I'll stay home alone and just attend the event I have to go!
