Our love threads intertwined, souls dangling on the strings.
I left you at that crossroad year ago to leave for home,
You never overcame the obstacles that lay in front of us.
Rain opened the clouds of our relationship to come crashing down.
You wept at my feet, relieved me of the building pressure
Only clear skies were allowed to follow us, in the aftermath.
All we know is all we were told,
The battles we fought, our armors of choice,
Sharp tongues were all we had. Defence or attack?
You lost me, because this is all we know.
