Walking through the cabin he and his family would be staying in for the Christmas holiday—Kodie had a smile plastered on his face, he loved vacations. Especially getting to take a break from college, any time away from school was really something he looked forward to.
"My baby is hea'," he smiled hearing his mothers sweet angelic voice before he could even see her, "about doggone' time,"
Once he was in view of everyone he chuckled at the million hugs he was attacked with, his light-skin flushed with embarrassment because his family pretended as if he was still a baby, granted, he was the youngest out of he and his sister but he was still a grown ass man who was turning twenty five on Christmas Day. However, you couldn't tell his mother, father, and sister that. They'd spoil him as long as they had breaths in their bodies, and he'd let them.
"I was just hea' fo' thanksgiving y'all," he reminded, "and I'm hea' even longer fo' winter break,"
Kyrah scoffed, "maybe if ya' didn't spend half ya' time with that no good ass lil' girl in her hometown—you'd have mo' time wit' us," his sister rubbed her protruding belly, "speaking of—when she flyin' in? So, I can go upside her head,"
