"Be gone Beast!" I hear his yell.

The Woodsman has followed me. He's starting yelling and throwing his axe around. I turn to him. My eyes kind of stand out in the dark of the woods, but... it's not my fault. I grip the lantern. He knows I'm here. But... is that a bad thing? Clearly, he's been in these woods for so long. Is it possible he knows how to break this curse. I inch forward.

"You stay away from my daughter, Beast!" He yells.

I inch ever closer. Gripping the lantern.

"I..." I start.

"Beast! Show yourself!" He yells.

He swings his axe. He's actually trying to kill the Beast. It could be dangerous to approach him. It is dangerous. I grip the twigs around me. I can't let him see me like this. I'm a freak. I'm The Beast.

"Beast!" He yells.

I jump back. He can see my eyes. He's looking right at me.

"I don't want to hurt you!" I call.

"Hold your tongue!" He yells.

He charges. I slam my foot into the ground. Branches shoot up like hands. He's actually trying to kill me. No... he wants to kill me. I turn. I should go. I grip my fists as I feel the tears forming in my eyes. Is this what I have become? A monster? A Beast?
