"What did you want to talk about?" Leah finally asked, her voice soft but tinged with curiosity.

Aurora sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly as she met Leah's gaze. Without a word, she moved to sit down on the couch, her expression guarded but vulnerable.

Leah couldn't help but smile faintly at the sight of Aurora choosing to stay, if only for a little while longer. It was a small gesture, but it filled Leah with a glimmer of hope – hope that maybe they could find a way to bridge the gap that had formed between them.

Aurora took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts before speaking. "It's about my album."

Leah's smile widened slightly as she nodded in understanding. "Oh yeah, I heard you finished it. Congrats."

Aurora offered a small, grateful smile in return. "Thanks."

The room fell silent once more, the weight of their shared history hanging in the air between them. Leah's curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn't help but ask, "So, what do you need to talk to me about regarding the album?"

Aurora took a deep breath, her gaze steady as she met Leah's eyes. "Most, if not all, of the songs are about us."

Leah's breath caught in her throat at the revelation, her mind reeling with a whirlwind of emotions. "Oh," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Aurora continued, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "It's a two-sided album. One side is full of love songs..."

Leah couldn't help but smile at that, a rush of warmth flooding her chest at the thought of Aurora pouring her heart into music inspired by their love.

"...and the other half is break-up, heartbreak, or sad songs," Aurora finished, her voice trailing off.

Leah's smile faltered, replaced by a pang of guilt and regret. She knew she had caused Aurora pain, but hearing it laid bare in the form of music made it all too real.

"I see," Leah replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Leah listened intently as Aurora spoke, her heart heavy with the weight of their shared history. She couldn't deny the pang of guilt that gnawed at her, knowing that she was the cause of Aurora's pain.

"Why do you need to talk to me about it, though?" Leah asked softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Aurora took a deep breath, her eyes locking with Leah's as she searched for the right words. "Because... because the sadder side of the album, it sort of hints at what happened between us. And if the fans find out, then who knows what will happen."

Leah felt a knot form in her stomach at Aurora's words, the gravity of the situation sinking in. She knew that their relationship had been far from perfect, but she hadn't realized the extent to which it had impacted Aurora's music – and potentially her career.

"I understand," Leah murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "But... maybe I deserve it."

Aurora's eyes softened, a flicker of sadness passing over her features. "No, Leah. You don't."

Leah's heart ached at Aurora's words, the sincerity in her voice cutting through the walls she had built around herself. She wanted to argue, to protest, to tell Aurora that she was wrong.

Tears welled up in Leah's eyes as she reached out, grasping Aurora's hand in hers. "I'm sorry, Aurora. I'm so sorry for everything."

Aurora squeezed Leah's hand gently, a small smile playing at her lips. "I know, Leah."

"The main reason is one song," Aurora confessed, her voice hushed yet heavy with significance. "It pretty much exposes the two of us."

Leah's breath caught in her throat, the gravity of Aurora's words sinking in. She knew that this song held the power to unveil the raw, unfiltered emotions of their past, laying bare the intricacies of their relationship for the world to see.
