The President of France has had an early morning this Saturday thus far!
Today is Brigitte's 71st birthday and today is going to be a day full of family fun, something that the Macrons haven't had in a while due to the busyness of the Presidency at the moment.
Emmanuel woke up extra early, getting the three Macron family dogs - their black Labrador Nemo and their two newest additions, Tazi Greyhounds Jules and Jeanne out for their morning walk and fed their breakfast.
Jules and Jeanne were offered to Emmanuel and Brigitte as a gift from Kazakhstan's president during the state visit in November. Brigitte was a little stressed about adding more members to the family while Manu and Emmanuel were excited since they both love dogs.
It has been an adjustment for Emmanuel and Brigitte with now having three dogs, an active preschooler and a baby but they finally have a routine with everyone.
Right now, Emmanuel is getting Manu and Josie dressed and ready for the day, hoping to not wake up Brigitte, which is a challenge itself since both children always want to be by their mother's side.
Manu is standing on an old wooden step stool brushing his teeth while Josie is sitting on the toilet seat with Emmanuel fixing her hair. Both Macron children are growing up fast, with Manu being five years old and Josie being nine months old.
Manu is in a prestigious private school that is right by The Élysée Palace and is excelling. Emmanuel and Brigitte are excited for Manu to begin kindergarten this fall.
As for Josie, she is an active baby now. At just nine months old, she crawls just about everywhere and is now walking on her knees, which is the first potential step before walking.
Emmanuel carefully brushes Josie's dark brown hair and begins to put a big pink Louis Vuitton in. Emmanuel fixes Josie's hair just right and puts the bow in the center of her head.
"Papa's pretty girl! Are you Papa's pretty girl?" Emmanuel says on a babyfied tone to his youngest causing the baby to smile and show her five teeth.
"Pa pa!" Josie says clapping her hands and Emmanuel's face lights up in happiness.
"Yes, mon coeur! I'm your Papa! I love you!" Emmanuel says, kissing Josie's cheeks.
Josie giggles and smiles at Emmanuel with Emmanuel smiling back at her.
"And I love you too, Manu. My sweet boy." Emmanuel says, softly kissing Manu's head.
"Wuv you too, Papa!" Manu says, getting tooth paste all over the place which Emmanuel cleans up.
"Make sure you brush the ones in the back, Manu." Emmanuel says to Manu as he picks up Josie and holds her.
Manu finishes brushing his teeth and smiles up at Emmanuel and Josie.
