•CHAPTER 5 : THE BLAME GAME•

As soon as Taehyung left his office, Hoseok entered Jeongguk's office again but this time with Eunwoo.

"Jeongguk" Eunwoo said gaining Jeongguk's attention.

"It's been quite a few days since the previous model left to work for another company" He added.

"I know, Eunwoo. I have even asked Hoseok to announce that placements are open for modeling here." The blonde sighed.

"I know that as well. But those models weren't good enough. Our brand 'JJKII' would just fall in the market" Eunwoo stated.

"Then what do you want me to do ?" Jeongguk asked rubbing his fingers on his forehead.

"I know a person who can be a good spot for the modeling here. And I bet our sales would rise higher and higher because of him" Eunwoo announced and Hoseok who was listening to them all this time, said chuckling "What is he a celebrity ?"

"Can say so" Eunwoo shrugged.

"Well it's good that you found a perfect person for the spot. Have you talked to that person yet ?" Jeongguk asked

"Not yet. I was thinking of taking permission from you-" Eunwoo was interrupted by the blonde.

"You don't have to take any permission from me Eunwoo, and especially not on the Modeling department part. You think a person fits the modeling section, you talk to them immediately" Jeongguk said and Eunwoo smiled.

"Sometimes I forget you are my best friend, of course you would be nice" Eunwoo said, making Jeongguk raise his eyebrow in amusement.

"But remember I'm the CEO. I have to first see how that person models and if he fits the company expectations or not" The blonde said and Eunwoo snickered.

"Always showing off tsk"

"Anyways, now let me and Hoseok work."

"Yeah whatever, wasn't gonna stay here and look at your ugly face anyways"

"Calling me ugly ? You need to test your eyesight"

"Kidding kidding, I'll be off now, see ya later" Eunwoo said leaving the office.

"You two are really a great example of friendship" Hoseok smiled putting some documents on Jeongguk's desk.

"And you are a part of this friendship as well" the blonde said while taking a look on the documents and Hoseok couldn't help but grin.

On the other side, as Taehyung arrived at Adrenaline Alley, the sun cast long shadows across the track, signaling the start of another day of racing. His friends Jimin, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol were already there, their cars gleaming in the sunlight as they prepared for their upcoming races.

"Taehyung, you made it!" Jimin exclaimed, a bright smile lighting up his face as he greeted his friend.

Taehyung returned the smile, feeling a surge of warmth at the sight of his friends. "Well I can't miss the races of my friends, now can I ?" he replied, joining them near the track.

Baekhyun glanced at his watch, noting the time. "So, how did it go with Jeongguk at the company?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

Taehyung's expression darkened slightly as he recalled his encounter with Jeongguk "It was... complicated" he admitted, choosing his words carefully.

Chanyeol raised an eyebrow, sensing the tension in Taehyung's voice. "Complicated how?"

Taehyung hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "Let's just say we didn't exactly have a civil talk. Not that I care but he disrespected me and my skills, just like yesterday. Anyways, he agreed for another race tonight at 8" he replied evasively, hoping to change the subject.
