Nakapila ako sa cafeteria. I'm going to get my food since lunch na. When I was in front I hurriedly got my lunch and umalis. I was the only one to eat my lunch dahil wala si Lou.
As I continued walking I saw Jeo's friend waving at me, I waved back at him. Maghahanap pa sana ako ng table when he called me."Jazzie, dito ka na umupo since puno na ang ibang table!"
I'm hesitating to sit with them kasi nandun si Jeo. But suddenly I just agree with them because maybe this is a chance to prove myself to Jeo.
I headed the way to their table. "Is it okay to sit with you?" I ask them while sitting in front of Jeo. I take a glance at Jeo, he's looking at his cellphone seriously.
"Okay lang sabagay magkakilala naman kayo ni Jeo." He said as he smiled at me. "I'm Dylan pala." He shook my hand. "Ito naman si Kenji." Nginitian naman ako nung singkit. "While his Lester." I smiled at him as hi nod his head.
"I'm Jazzi-." He cutted me. "We already know you."
"Uhh..." I don't know what to say after
"By the way where's your friend?" Lester asks me while we start to eat.
"She's excused today kasi." I take a sip on my water.
"Huyy, ba't mo kinain yung carrots ko!" Rinig ko ang pagmamaktol ni Kenji. "Akala ko ba hindi ka nun kumakain?" Dylan said while his chewing the carrots.
"Anak ng- ,akin na tong sayo!" Kinuha ni Kenji yung pagkain ni Dylan.
Hindi parin tapos ang bangayan ng dalawa ng marinig ko ang malalim na boses ni Jeo na nagpatigil sa ingay. "You two! Shut up or else!" Saad nito habang nagbabagang napatingin sa dalawa.
"Ikaw kasi eh" rinig ko pa ang pagbubulungan ng dalawa.
"Sorry ha? sobrang ingay talaga ng dalawang yan pag magkasama." Napakamot na lang sa ulo si Lester
"No, ayos lang." I said as smiled at him.
I looked at Jeo and was shocked when I saw him staring at me. I can feel butterflies In my stomach. My heart beats rigid.
I stare back at him pero agad ko ring iniwas ang tingin ko. I can still feel his gazes that makes me want to melt.
I just continue to eat and act fine but I can still feel my heart beats fast.
I can clearly observe that Jeo's friend was a total opposite of him. His friends were jolly while he's so serious and a snob but it's alright coz I still like him though.
My mood suddenly darkened when I saw Faye walking at our table. She stop in front of Jeo. "Hi boys." She said it in a pabebe voice. I want to kick her out of this place. "Jeo, I want to invite you to my party tonight." She said while touching my Jeo's arm.
I gripped my fork too tight that I want to stab this bitch. "I can't go tonight." He coldly said while he shrug Faye's hand in his arm.
"Magagalit si Mommy pag hindi ka pumunta." She's really getting into my nerves. I heard Lester chuckling beside me.
"Calm down Jazzie, you look like your going to kill." He whispered at me playfully.
"Don't pester him, Faye." Dylan said while his trying to shoo Faye away.
"Hindi ka ba nahihiya sa kasama namin." Saad ni Kenji while looking at me. I saw her glancing at me from head to toe.
She fakingly smiled at me. "Oh... I'm Faye." Inaabot niya ang kamay sakin. I just look at her hand then look at her. "I'm Jazzie." Nakakainis na talaga tong babae na to.
Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay. "How dare you!" She said and was about to come near me when I heard Jeo's voice. "Leave!"
Faye mockingly smiled at me. " Hey, didn't you heard him he said leave."
Rinig ko pa ang pagtututol nila Kenji ng marinig ko ulit ang boses ni Jeo.
"I said leave, Faye." I automatically look at Jeo. My heart started to beat abnormally. Jeo's siding me huh.
"But Jeo-" sinubukan pa ni Faye na umalma but Jeo cuts her.
"Go now, your disturbing our lunch."
"I'll gonna tell tita about this." I saw her glare at me but I just smiled at her. She stormed out the cafeteria.
"Don't worry Jazzie, boto parin kami sayo for Jeo." I heard Lester saying that make blush.
I caught Jeo looking at me while his friend were back to their own business.
Hanggang sa mag-uwian ay Hindi pa din ma process sa isip ko ang nangyari kanina.
But still this is a nice start to be close to him.
