Every  Jujutsu Sorcerer in Jujutsu Tech, except for Shoko, was out in the "ruins of the Shibuya Incident" to exercise all the curses that were now running rampant.

Megumi
" There's no end to these things. They just keep coming. 'Demon dogs'."

Yuji
" hughhhhh.... 'Black flash'."

Nobara
"Why is all of this happening all of a sudden? Could it be the plan of those talking curses? 'Hairpin'."

Yuji
" I've never seen so many curses in one place."

Nobara
" Yuji! Watch out!"
She shouted and ran to push him down out of the way.
Megumi ran to them and stood in front of the two, 'rabbit escape'. The rabbits jumped at the curse, giving Nobara and Yuji time to get back. Yuji rushed at the curse with a kick to the head, and Nobara hammered two nails at it, then snapped her fingers, and the curse was exercised. It wouldn't normally take their combined attacks to defeat one curse, but even though the majority of the curses were weak, there were some strong ones, and even ones with intelligence too.

In the far left, more curses could be seen rushing towards the trio. Yuji ran towards them and sent the one in front, flying with a kick and relentlessly punching the ones that came after. Megumi called on rabbit escape one more time, and rabbits swarmed the half beaten curses, biting off an arm from each of them and, as Megumi commanded threw the arms of the curses towards Nobara. Nobara put her rag doll on the pile of limbs and threw a nail through the doll, and hammered the nail down so hard it cracked the concrete below

Nobara
" hair pin!"

They were a good team, and they had all become stronger after facing such powerful enemies at the Shibuya incident.

They looked around them and realized they'd already defeated the curses in the area. Nobara's phone started ringing, and she picked up.

Ijichi
"Nobara, you Megumi and yuji should come to the veil outside of shibuya when you're done where you are. We need some help."

Nobara
" We're already done, and we'll be right there!" She hung up.
"Are you guys ready?"

Yuji
"Yeah, what did he say?"
Nobara
"See that veil right there? They want us to come and help."

A week after every rogue curse had been exercised, everyone went back to their jobs. The trio were still helping Shoko.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

It was a new day, and Shoko had just called Nobara to come with Yuji and Megumi so she could get their help and share some info on their research.

Nobara
" Shoko was calling us to come help again, you guys."

Yuji
"I'm coming, Nobara. Megumi! Let's go help Shoko."

Megumi
"Yeah, I'm coming."

Nobara
"Ahhhhhhh you guys! The ground... it's glowing!"

Yuji
" Nobara, what's wrong?" He looked down and saw that the ground was glowing. "What's going on?"

Megumi looked down too, and the ground glowed even brighter by the second, and the brightness suddenly engulfed them.

Yuji
" Huh...? It stopped. What was that"

They opened their eyes, and nothing changed. The ground was no longer glowing, and it was like nothing happened.

Megumi
" Where did that light go?"

Nobara
"Let's get to Shoko." She started running towards the direction of Shoko's lab and barged in.
" Did... did you see that."

Shoko
" Yes, I did! It was weird, but I think it has something to do with what I wanted to tell you."

She walked to her desk and grabbed a rolled up paper. It was a map, a close-up map of Japan.

" This is a map of Japan. I made small modifications to it. These over here are the portals that haven't disappeared since last week. If you look closely, you can see that all the portals that are there, including the ones in the countryside, take the shape of an eye. At first, I found it bizarre, so I went back to the source. There!" She pointed to the portal that served as the pupil of the eye shape.

Nobara
" When did you find time to put this together?"

Shoko
" I was digging around in our progress so far. I also went and dug around in the surveillance video principal Yaga managed to salvage for us from the Shibuya Incident. I watched the only piece of camera feed from G5. After he was captured, Gojo's eye color appeared on the prison realm cube. I believe these portals are related to gojo being captured somehow."

The door opened, and Principal Yaga was at the door.

Yaga
" You are correct, Shoko. I just received some information from tengen, and I think it will tie the knot."
