" Lucy I've been lying to myself...for a long time" Tim says teary eyed
" that's clear to me now...and and I just can't go back to the way things were...not right now.....maybe never" Tim says staring into Lucy as they both have tears in there eyes.
They stare for a second at each other.
"Wai-.... Are you breaking up with me?" Lucy says with tears abt to fall.
" I'm sorry" Tim says
" you. You don't get to do that...you don't get to lie to me and then use that as an excuse to leave me....ok..that's not ok... that's not ok" Lucy says before Tim buts in
"I know" - Tim
" what your.. - Lucy
" I know" - Tim
" what your doing is not ok"
" I know "
" you—you are an incredible person" - Tim explains
" no" Lucy says shaking her head
" no your incredible" Tim repeats
" ok?....you deserve so much better " Tim says looking at Lucy about to break
" oh my god" Lucy whispers
" and so I'm walking away"
" don't do this... why are you doing this " Lucy breaks
" why are you doing this " Lucy says slapping there hands in the arm and dropping them trying to keep it together.
" I'm sorry " Tim says grabbing her head and places a kiss on her temple.
Tim lets go and walks away leaving Lucy standing there , shocked and sad. Just broken.
Lucy turns and drives off. No music no nothing. Just her soft little sobs.
~ at the apartment ~
Lucy walks in. Face covered in tears and all.
She shuts the door and goes ti set her bag and keys down when Tamara walks out her bedroom
TA - Lucy hey...oh is everything alright
L - yeah..well no I just.
TA- Tim do something?
L - he broke up with me
TA - oh Lucy. Come here
Tamara walks up to Lucy who's just standing there crying as Tamara wraps her arms around Lucy and hugs her.
TA - trust me it's gonna get better, you'll come back to each other again
Tamara pulls away and hold her hands
L - is it my fault? Did I go to far?
TA - Lucy no , look Tim is going through things.
L - yeah and I pushed him to far , I pushed him into telling me what was going on. Look maybe if I never made him tell me then maybe we wouldn't have broken up.
Lucy says tearing up
TA - no Lucy this isn't your fault. Tims trying to protect you.
L - I don't need him protecting me.
TA - I know.
L - I just. I just can't believe it's over
Lucy takes her hands away from Tamara's and places her left hand on her hip and her right hand between her nose and top lip trying to hold it all back.
