"You fool there was never a day I considered you my child you and that brother of yours will never be my children it doesn't matter who you act like" at the mention of himself the boy next to the emperor looked up before returning to his earlier position hurt by his fathers remark but kept his face stone like not to show any weakness.

Third point of view
"Walk with me" the older man said to the younger child who stared at him surprised not expecting the sudden gesture . "Yes your highness" the young prince replied as he trotted behind his father. You see, the 5 year old yearned for the emperors love the moment he met him but his cold hearted father put a pause to that fantasy before it ever started. The only reason Aetius was able to walk with his father like this was due to the singular reason of his training as crown prince. The young boy who had been curious about his twin had inquired to his father about visiting her but that idea was shut down immediately and he got the cold shoulder from the already distant man for many days he
learned not to bring it up anymore.

Pulled away from his thoughts by the sudden stop of his father he looked up to realize they had reached the Sapphire palace his current residence though he lived in the onyx palace until recently he was forced to move to the official residence for the heir to the throne due to factors consulting his training "thank you for escorting me to my palace father" the young prince bowed. Claude uninterested nodded in acknowledgement and turned around to leave the
cheery red haired night smiled at the prince before waving and following the emperor.

Aetius turned and walked inside hurt by his father's disinterest, though his palace was huge the staff rarely cared to great their master blissfully ignoring him as he headed to his bedroom where he spent the rest of the day flipping through the curriculum he had to memorize before the morning classes the next day. Eventually a maid came in to drop his meal before bowing and leaving him alone once again, after all it was an endless loop
