I stare into the sky, getting lost in the moment. So lost that I forgot Mike was next to me. "Nice view, huh?" He said, making me jump a little. "...Yeah." I said, not taking my eyes off the sky. I didn't wanna look at him because I felt like I'd stare too long... I then felt like I was being stared at... but not in a bad way. I turn to Mike who looked like he was daydreaming. He then flinches a little when he noticed I was looking at him. He turned away, blushing and looking rather nervous. Is he okay? I thought, but I didn't think much of it, he probably wants me to think he's gonna bite me or something.

"Nice view, huh?" I said, turning to Pete. "...Yeah." He responded as he didn't bother to face me. As he was staring at the sky, I noticed some features of him that I didn't before that gave me a weird and tingly feeling. How silky smooth his skin looked, how his eyes sparkled when the moonlight hit his face, how long his eyelashes were, how serene and calm his eyes looked, holy shit I think I'm in love with him— I then noticed he saw me staring, I turned away and blushed. What is this weird feeling...?
We shared a long awkward silence, we both didn't dare to break it. I felt his hand over mine which made me blush a little. I hesitated, but intertwined our fingers. I felt like he felt the same way...
