Despite the ache in his heart, he mustered up the courage to tap on the call button, desperate to hear the younger's sweet voice. Leaning against the wall, he braced himself for the call to connect.

The cold, automated voice echoed through the line, adding to the weight of his disappointment. Realizing the futility of his attempts, he resigned himself to dialing Jisung's number instead. However, just as he was about to do so, his gaze fell upon the unread messages from the same number. A pang of sadness washed over him as he clicked to read, hoping for some comfort amidst the silence.
