Mara's perspective
Today was Madelyn's sweet sixteen. She was super excited for today,she woke up at 8am in the morning today, when she usually wakes up at 1pm. She came running to my room,jumping on my bed to wake up because the party arrangers came. I woke up, went to the bathroom and did my skincare. I changed into an black F1 hoodie and some Grey sweat pants. I went downstairs and saw alot of party arrangement people. Some where doing balloons, some were decorating the table and much more. I walked to the kitchen and started making pancakes.
"You want some?" I asked Madelyn who was siting on a chair looking down on her phone
"No I ate"
"You ate? What did u eat it's 10 am" i asked confused
"Well I woke up at 8 and made myself some toast" she says
I just nodded at her response and kept my plate of pancakes on the table with my laptop infront of it. Madelyn comes in front of me, holding the invitations list.
"Ok so, I'm going to tell you who all are coming to my sweet sixteen" she says confidently
"Oh God Madi I've heard this list 5 times this week" I say frustrated
She ignores me and starts reading the list
"Ok so, Mara my sister, Maiden my brother,Jaden my other brother,Kennedy my homie, Nailea my house mate, Cassie my house mate , Nathan my house mate......"
She continues the list of 25 people, she wanted a simple party with her very close friends.
After saying the list, Madi walks into the laundry room and screams.
Me, Cassie and Kennedy run into the room to see Madi holding her dress which was white,instead of light pink.
"MY DRESS IS RUINED" she cries
"Oh God you gave us a heart attack and also it's fine" I say in relief
"No its clearly not Mara, she'll look like a bride..at the age of sixteen. Don't worry mads let's go shopping" Kennedy says putting a smile on madi's face and both of them squealed when they left the house
