As the reality of the situation sunk in, Elizabeth felt a mixture of fear and resignation. Slenderman had given her an ultimatum: become his proxy and serve him, or be fed to the Cannibalism proxies. It was a choice between serving an otherworldly entity or becoming a meal for the twisted creatures that lurked in the shadows.

She was torn between her desire to survive and her reluctance to serve such a malevolent being. But as she looked into Slenderman's cold, featureless face, she knew that she had no choice if she wanted to live.

"I accept," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Slenderman's tendrils writhed with satisfaction as he nodded in approval. "You have made the right choice, my dear. From now on, you will serve me as my proxy."

Elizabeth felt a chill run down her spine as Slenderman's words echoed in her mind. She was now bound to him, a servant to his dark whims and desires.

As she trembled with a mix of fear and determination, a voice broke through the silence.

"Wow, talk about a tough choice," a voice said, filled with amusement. Elizabeth turned to see Benjamin, the horror fan she had met earlier, standing nearby with a grin on his face.

"Benjamin, what are you doing here?" Elizabeth asked, surprised to see him in this nightmarish place.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to witness the birth of a new proxy," Benjamin replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "And let me tell you, this is going to make one hell of a story for my blog."

Elizabeth couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh at Benjamin's nonchalant attitude. Despite the dire circumstances, his humor was a welcome distraction from the horrors that surrounded them.

"So, how does it feel to be Slenderman's newest recruit?" Benjamin asked, his tone laced with sarcasm.

"It feels...terrifying," Elizabeth admitted, her voice tinged with apprehension. "But I had no choice. It was either this or be eaten alive by those Cannibalism proxies."

Benjamin let out a whistle. "Well, I guess you made the right call then. Better to serve the devil you know than end up in the belly of the beast, right?"

Elizabeth nodded, grateful for Benjamin's light-hearted perspective on the situation. It provided a brief respite from the weight of her decision.

As she looked back at Slenderman, she felt a sense of dread settle in her stomach. She was now his proxy, a pawn in his twisted game. But as long as she had Benjamin by her side, she knew she would find a way to navigate this dark and dangerous world.

Together, they would face whatever horrors awaited them, armed with humor, courage, and a bond forged in the shadows of the unknown. And as they stood side by side, ready to embark on a new chapter in their lives, Elizabeth knew that with Benjamin's friendship, she could face anything that came their way.
