So baby drive slow
Until we run out of road in this one horse town
I wanna stay right here in this passenger seat
You put your eyes on me
In this moment now capture it, remember it

The night enveloped the small town as Hyebin and Doyoung cruised along the familiar roads. The rain had subsided and the clouds began to break, allowing the moon to cast its soft glow upon the town below. The moonlight, mingling with the gentle illumination of the car's headlights, created a serene ambiance around them. The hum of the engine blended seamlessly with the soothing melody of the music, creating a tranquil atmosphere within the confines of the car.

Hyebin leaned back in her seat and cracked her window open. She closed her eyes as she felt the breeze on her face and breathed in the smell of the earth after rain. The rhythmic motion of the car had a hypnotic effect, lulling her into a sense of tranquility. Doyoung stole a glance at her, a faint smile gracing his lips as he marveled at her beauty in the dim light.

He slowed the car down slightly so the wind wouldn't be so strong against her face. Although, the distraction of staring at her might also have been a factor. He studied the way her hair was blowing in the breeze and how the moonlight reflected off the bridge of her nose. How she had a faint smile on her face as she closed her eyes and soaked in the moment. How her long eyelashes cast a shadow on her freckle dusted cheeks, like she had captured the hiding stars to make constellations dance across her own face.

"You know," Doyoung began as he turned to face forward once more, his voice gentle as it broke through the comfortable silence, "I've always loved rainy nights like these. It feels as if the world slows down and gives us time to breathe."

Hyebin turned to him, a contemplative expression crossing her features. "It's funny, I always resented growing up here." she admitted, her voice soft yet tinged with nostalgia. "I mean, it's so small and everything is so ordinary and nothing ever changes. But lately, I've come to appreciate the beauty in its simplicity. Even the most mundane things hold a certain magic," she mused, her eyes reflecting the twinkling stars above as she looked out at the sleeping world.

She turned to face Doyoung and found his gaze fixed on her. Hyebin instantly felt heat creep into her face as her words sank in. "That was a weird thing to say, sorry. I don't think it even made any sense."

Doyoung shook his head at her self-doubt, "No I completely agree. I get it." His gaze lingered on her for a moment longer before returning to the road ahead. "There's something special about the familiar," he murmured, a sense of wonder in his tone. "The more you learn, the more things you can find to appreciate. Like right now."

As they continued their journey, Hyebin felt a sense of peace wash over her, a feeling of being exactly where she was meant to be. She couldn't help but be grateful for this moment, for the simple joy of being in Doyoung's company under the vast expanse of the night sky. She didn't want it to end.

And as they drove on, with nothing but the open road stretching out before them, Hyebin made a silent promise to herself to cherish this moment, to hold onto it tightly and remember it always. For in this fleeting moment, with Doyoung by her side, she felt truly alive.
