"Do you know who's coming" myra asked i shook my head
"Damn i really want to know" she huffed

"You'll see after sometime" I said rolling my eyes

"I know but hearing these people my curiosity is at its peak" i chuckled listening to her

I also have been listening to it from the morning people were gossiping like anything

"I'm glad you came here, I was missing you so much you know i remembered our uni days everyday" she said we both smiled

She was the friend i made at the university on the first day we both were sitting next to each other on the first class

"Me to" I said to her

"Guys he's here" we heard whispers and shouts myra looked at me excited

"Well whoever that is, he's here you go and see" i chuckled at her she nodded and frowned looking at me

"Aren't you coming" she asked
"I'll just go the restroom I'll be back" I said she nodded and rushed to the crowd

While i went to the restroom and looked at myself after adjusting my hair and clothes a bit I took a deep breath

"You just have to meet and greet and fake a smile Isha that's it you can do this" I said to myself

As i went out of the restroom someone was calling me

"Mr.kapoor is asking about you Isha" i nodded at her
"Yeah I'm coming" I said

"Isha" i turned to see myra panting
"What happened" she gulped and was about to say something but stopped
"What" I raised my brow

"It's re" i nodded my head to continue
"Isha come fast" i face palmed myself

"I have to go, I'll come back ok" i said and hurriedly went towards the cabin
after taking a deep breath i entered inside

I looked at mr.kapoor and he smiled at me

"Isha you came i was talking about you"
i smiled as he got up and i looked at the person who was sitting on the chair infront of him

His back was familiar!?

"Isha meet Reyansh Malhotra" as the man got up my breath hitched as i saw his face which i prayed to never see again

He also looked at me and his eyes widened we both were looking at each other shocked

It's like the world just stopped for me i clutched my dress i gulped the lump in my throat

All the past moments we spent together and that horrible day hit me again

"Reyansh meet Isha she is our best employee" mr.Kapoor said breaking the awkward silence

I looked away from him

"Hello mr.malhotra" i said
I'd cry at any moment I don't know how I'm controlling myself

Why it has to be him just why

"Hello" he said
"I I'll go now sir" he nodded and i literally ran out of the room

My head was spinning i clutched my head and someone held me

"Isha are you okay" i nodded
"Take me to the restroom please " she nodded

Once we are out of sight from the people I broke down she hugged me

"Why it has to be him myra, I'm trying everyday to forget him" a sob left from me i still remember what he said that day

How he broke my heart and our engagement and how he didn't believed me and how he left me

"Don't cry Ishu, he's not worth it" myra said wiping my tears

"It still hurts that i love him" i sniffled
"I know" she mumbled

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself and splashed some water on my face

My eyes were red and I'm looking
like a mess

"Are you okay"myra asked looking at me concerned i nodded
"Sorry i"she cut me off
"It's ok i understand" i smiled and nodded

The door opened reaveling our colleague riya

"Isha you are here i was searching for you everywhere" riya said
"What happened " i asked

"Mr.Malhotra was asking for you" my face went blank now what does he want to talk and what is left to talk

Wasn't it enough destroying my life

"She's not feeling well she's going home"myra said
"Please handle this for me riya I'm really not feeling good" she nodded

"Thank you" i smiled at her
"Now what does he want, asshole" myra scoffed as she left

"leave it, let's not talk about him anymore" i said she nodded

After sometime we both went inside and i heard he left i signed in relief

The whole day went with work as I tried to not think about him but that's impossible because that's what I've been hearing about

All were praising him and these girls are talking how hot he is

Well I'm happy for his success even though we are nothing to each other i always wanted the best for him

"Are you sure" i nodded
"Yeah I'll go by myself, don't worry" I said she was going to her cousins birthday party

I wasn't in the mood so I'm going home

"Take care and call me when you reach" i nodded and we both hugged each other

As she left i stood there searching for a taxi the weather was cold and looked like it'll rain i walked towards the bus station

My leg suddenly slipped a small scream left from my mouth as I was about to fall until someone catched me

My hands clutched the soft fabric i slowly opened my eyes and my eyes got stuck on the person who held me

It's like time got freezed and i remembered the first time we met

It was my first day today I'm so nervous i was always the shy and quite kid and
I don't feel comfortable around strangers

As i was looking for my class i didn't noticed the wet my leg slipped and a small scream left from my mouth

I closed my eyes in fear i thought I'd fell but i didn't felt anything then i realised the soft fabric in my hands which i was clutching

My eyes opened and i looked at the face who held me my breath hitched as i looked at him

"Hey are you okay" he said softly i nodded and get out of his hold and bent down to pick up the books which fell on the floor

He also picked some and gave it to me

My cheeks turned pink i tucked the hair behind my ears and looked down

"Thank you" i whispered
"You are welcome" he chuckled and i noticed he was handsome so handsome

"I'm reyansh" he said forwarding his hands to shake i hesitated a bit but held his hand

"I'm Isha" i smiled.
