As the confrontation is happening, we see two figure fleeing the scene, a pair of mother and daughter...

"Mother.... Where are we going?... Is father gonna be.. Okay?"

".... We are going to find a safe place for you where the bad person can't hurt you. And I'm sure... Your father is gonna be okay"

"Really mother?"

"Really"

'I hope so.. Shizue pls be okay'

(Shizue POV)

"Enough of this pointless chit-chat... I'll Show you the true meaning of DESPAIR!"

As he says that he was suddenly infront of me showing his palm to my face.... but luckily I manage to dodge it

'What th- I didn't even see him! And that attack... It will definitely kill me if I didn't dodge it'

"Nice reflexes... But the real fight is yet to start!"

Then he started to fire spells like the one he ambush us with continuously but I manage to dodge all of it by Swift maneuvering through the attack

'Is this his only capabilty... No.. He's not taking me seriously at all'

Taking my chance I rushed and jump straight to him and did a downward slash '[Melt Slash]' feeling something solid clashing with my sword and I jump backword and preparing to strike a second chance

"Not bad, to be able to slightly damage my [Universal Barrier] is quite a feat itself....who am I kidding, it did fucking nothing"

Not wanting to hear his blabbering I launch my self foward and did a side slash then activating [Spatial Motion] faking him out while appearing behind him slash towards him '[Heavy Slash]' but it didn't even scratch him

"Truly a wonderful swordmanship and strategy.... But to bad I have [High Physical Resistance]"

'Tch... What a bothersome passive... Physical attack or skill is out of the bag, magic and exorcism skill is the only way to go'

Thinking about it, I coat my sword with *magic aura*. After I'm done coting my entire sword with magic I quickly appeared in front of him using [Spatial Motion] and quickly did six consecutive slash combining it with [Melt Slash] but it got easily parried

"Too slow.."

Too slow...? Just how fast is he?! Thinking about it, suddenly smoke started to cover up the area blocking my Vision.,

'Focus... Focus and use your five heighten senses to Search and dodge the attack' then he started speaking

"It's useless using your other senses... This smoke is different then the smoke the human uses...."

"It's from my skil [Smoke Mirage] it block any sound, sense and any detection skill from locating me in this smoke.."

Then a fireball appeared in from of me, trying to block it using [Protective Shield], the shield just shattered upon impact

'Quickly use another skill to dodge it [Spatial Mot-'

"Kuhk-"

'He... '

Getting hit from the side, I got flung to left and hitting a tree upon impact

"Did you really think i'm gonna let you escape an attack once again?... "

"Truly a naive mind... "

'Quick! Move your body! You still need to finish your responsibility!'

"Ohh.. Still got the energy to move? Then I will end this here one and for ALL! [Infernal Fireball]

Moving away from the tree slowly, I saw the biggest fireball I have ever seen but it still does not make my will waver

'I will uphold my duty....as a husband, a father.... and as the Descendants of the Izawa I will not let such fear waver my will!'

Making a started I hold my sword up my head, closing my eyes I shouted,

"[Dead End Raibow]!"

Slashing my sword foward I come in contact with the fireball and cutting it in half making huge explosion

"Khahahahaha... What a marvelous show.... But to bad it seems you have lost a lot of mana performing that attack"

Trying to stand up, I stagger left and right and falling to one knee using my sword as a support

'Ahh sorry Fran... Rimuru it seems I can't live with for so much longer'

Feeling the weight on my eyes, I closed my eyes and succumb to my end...

Until...

I heard a voice...

"SHIZUE!"
