There's somethin' bout the way
The street looks when it's just rained
There's a glow off the pavement
You walk me to the car
And you know I wanna ask you to dance right there
In the middle of the parking lot

As the rain eased, Hyebin's eyes were drawn to the city streets, now adorned with a luminous sheen under the soft glow of streetlights. There was an ethereal quality to the atmosphere after it's just rained that never failed to captivate her.

Doyoung approached, his steps light on the damp pavement. His gaze met hers beneath the gentle illumination of a nearby streetlamp, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "Isn't it beautiful the way the night streets look after a rainfall?" he mused, his voice tinged with wonder.

Hyebin nodded in agreement, the air between them crackling with an unspoken energy. "It's like the world gets a new beginning," she remarked, her eyes lingering on him as the soft lamplit rain ethereally illuminated his figure.

Feeling a surge of confidence, Doyoung extended his arm towards her, offering his hand. Hyebin hesitated for a moment before placing her hand in his, the warmth of his touch sending a shiver down her spine and mingling with the cool dampness of the summer dress on her skin.

Together, they hurried down the sidewalk, the sound of their footsteps mingling with the soft patter of raindrops. Hyebin's heart raced with the knowledge that she was about to take a leap into the unknown, with Doyoung by her side.

As they approached his car, Hyebin felt a rush of adrenaline. She suddenly stopped and turned towards Doyoung, casting her eyes down to his wet sneakers. He peered curiously at her and offered a small nudge of confidence.

"You know... I've always wanted to dance in the rain," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. She looked up at him through her dewdrop eyelashes as warmth spread through her cheeks, casting a pink hue across her face.

To her surprise, Doyoung's eyes lit up with excitement, a smile spreading across his face. "Why wait?" he replied, his tone playful as he took her hand once more.

And so, beneath the open sky, with the city lights as their backdrop, Hyebin and Doyoung began to dance. Their movements were fluid and unrestrained, their laughter echoing through the empty lot as they let themselves get slowly soaked.

In that moment, as they twirled and swayed in perfect harmony, Hyebin knew that she was exactly where she was meant to be. With Doyoung by her side, she felt as though anything was possible, even in the middle of a parking lot on a rainy night.

He was her new beginning.
