MARLEY REPEATEDLY TAPPED ARIANA'S ARM, "What, what is it?" The girl pointed at her phone signalling her to read the messages. Ariana grabbed the phone scrolling through as her lips started to curve upwards "Aw Lee! You're finally talking to boys, this is so exciting." She exclaimed smiling at her friend.
Marley jokingly rolled her eyes giving the girl a look, "It's not that deep, he just said he was sorry for last night and he wanted to be friends. Not a big deal."
Ariana pulled a face, "He just called up pretty! I'm sure he'll soon want it be more than friends." Handing the phone back to Lee.
"You are the most obvious girl known to man, he is trying to flirt with you!" Ariana explained to her clueless best friend.
Marley scoffed, "Why are you so snarky today?" Looking at the brunette girl.
"I'm not snarky, I'm just stating facts." Ariana said smiling proudly at herself.
"Yeah whatever, what am I even supposed to say back to that anyways?" Lee asked looking at her friend for advice.
"Just say anything it doesn't really matter, I know Mal he's really sweet." Ariana defended her old friend, getting up from the bed and walking towards the bathroom.

The girl mentally face palmed. Why did she do that!!?? She didn't know why she couldn't just be confident and talk to him more, she felt like an idiot. Marley stuffed her face into the pillow, screaming into out of frustration.
Ariana walked out of the bathroom confused, "What are you doing?" Questioning her annoyed friend.
"I messaged Malachi back and said my mom was calling me! I don't even know why I just get really nervous talking to new people, I don't know why I feel so awkward all the time." The girl frowned looking down at the carpet, slightly angry with her self for not being more sociable.
Ariana smiled understandingly at her friend, sitting next to her on the bed. She grabbed Marleys hand squeezing it slightly as she started to talk to her, "Don't stress about it okay? You've just gotta step outside your comfort zone a little, you know?"
The girl nodded, leaning her head onto Ariana's shoulder. They both stayed like that for a while finding comfort in each other.
