The sun was beating down on her skin, and the sound of cicadas filled the air as seventeen-year-old Betty walked down the quiet street of her new town. She had just moved there a few weeks ago, after finding out that her boyfriend James had been cheating on her. Her parents thought it would be best for her to start over in a new place, away from all the drama and pain.

As Betty reached the end of the street, she noticed Centrenial Park. In the middle of the park there was a bench lit by the sun. She smiled to herself, thinking that it would be nice place for reading.

As days passed by, she saw an frozen yogurt shop. She walked inside and was greeted by the smell of waffle cones and the sound of laughter. It was a bright and colorful place, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Betty couldn't resist going in and treating herself to a cup of frozen yogurt.

As she waited for her order, she noticed a cute guy behind the counter. He had messy brown hair and warm, friendly eyes that crinkled when he smiled. He handed her the cup with a grin, and Betty felt her heart flutter. She paid for her yogurt and left, but not before stealing a few glances at the cute guy.

Betty couldn't help but notice how cute he was, but she tried to push the thought away. She had just gotten her heart broken, and the last thing she needed was to fall for someone else. When Betty finished her dessert, she walked out without goodbye trying not to fall in love.
