CHAPTER 45

“How's my wife? Bakit siya dinugo? Is something bad happened? What does it mean? Is she safe?” Sunod-sunod niyang bato ng tanong sa doktora ng asawa niya. 
“Your wife is... pregnant.” 
That was like a bomb. Timothy was unable to move for a moment. Para siyang na-comatose ng mga oras na iyon. 
His wife is pregnant. His wife is pregnant. His wife is pregnant! 
Nagtatalon siya sa sobrang tuwa. “Damn it, i'm now a father.” Humarap siya sa magulang ni Fashie at mahigpit na niyakap ang dalawa. “We're pregnant! Fuck it! My wife is pregnant, can you believe it, guys?!” 
“Congrats, man!” 
“Daddy na ang loko. Sumanib na sa binubuong kulto ni Guerrero!” 
“Fuck, my wife is—” Naputol ang kasiyahang iyon nang mayroon siyang narealize. Timothy faced the Dra. with worry. “If... If she's pregnant... W-What is the blood that come out from her?” 
The dra. smiled, “don't worry, it's called spotting. It's nothing something seriously kapag first trimester palang. Fashie is 2 months pregnant and it's very common. However, stress is also the reason of spotting. I saw bruise on her stomach, it is like someone punched her stomach.” 
Kumuyom ang kamao niya, that fucking Yuzon punch her stomach. “Is that also the reason why she experience spotting?” 
“A womb has strong, muscular walls and along with the amniotic fluid, does a good job of cushioning the baby. But, the belly will probably be bruised, and may have some bleeding inside which happened to your wife. In the first trimester of a pregnant woman, there's a risk that a heavy blow to the belly can cause miscarriage. Pero the baby is safe naman in her stomach, malakas ang kapit ni baby. Sa ngayon, i need to observe her condition at resetahan siya ng mga vitamins para sa bata.” 
Happiness inside Timothy is overflowing. Thanks God, they are fine. 
“Thank you so much, Dra.Sanchez. I owe you.” 
“It's my job.” Tinapik nito ang balikat niya. “Mrs.Degustare was asleep, they will transfer her into another comfortable room. Pagkatapos ay pumunta ka sa office ko para maibigay ko sa'yo ang mga kakailanganin niyang vitamins.” The dra. walk passed him after she spoke.
Ilang sandali pa ay inilabas na sa ER ang asawa niya sakay ng stroller. Hinawakan niya ang kamay nito. Saka niya lang napansin na hindi nito suot ang wedding ring nila. Where's her ring?
“You're pregnant, sweetheart. Your dream is now here.” Bulong niya rito. 
Nakarating sila sa VIP room. Akmang bubuhatin ng lalaking nurse ang asawa niya kaya naman sinabi niyang siya nalang. His jealousy work on again. 
Saglit pang nag-stay ang mga nurses doon at Kapagkuwan ay umalis na rin matapos masigurong nasa ayon ang lahat. 
Naramdaman niyang may tumapik sa balikat niya, it was Warren. 
“We're going to the HQ, he's there. Sumunod ka nalang.” Anito na tinanguhan niya. 
Mommy and Daddy and Him stayed. Hindi niya kayang umalis na tulog ang asawa niya. Hihintayin nalang niya munang magising ito bago harapin ang gagong nanakit kay Fashie.  
Nagpaalam muna siya saglit sa mga magulang ng asawa na pupuntahan niya si Dra.Sanchez sa office nito. 
“Sige, ijo, kami na ang bahala muna kay Fashie.” 
Humalik pa muna siya sa asawa bago lumabas ng kwarto. Dra.Sanchez' office is not that far from Fashie's VIP room kaya kaagad din siyang nakarating doon.
