𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃 loudly as the elevator kept going down further and further. My boyfriend held onto my waist tightly, keeping me as close to him as possible.

"Shit. Shit." Dustin yelled as he scrambled over to the buttons. He opened the small door to it and began pressing them repeatedly.

"We're going down. We're going down." Steve spoke up, his grip on my waist still tight.

The younger girl scoffed, "Yeah, no shit Harrington."

I continued to scream as I turned to the curly-haired boy, "Why don't these buttons work?" He asked rhetorically.

The Sinclair rolled her eyes as she approached the boy, pressing on them herself, "Press the button." She yelled.

"What do you think I'm doing?" The Henderson turned to her in annoyance.

I gripped onto a box beside me so I could turn my body to the kids, "Just press something. Anything." I yelled.

Dustin had tear-stained cheeks due to all the stress as he continued to scream, Erica still stood beside him as she pressed.

Suddenly, the elevator came to a sharp stop, causing everyone to fall to the floor. I crashed harshly against the side of my boyfriend's body.

I groaned out at the pain in my hip, gripping onto it to relieve some of the pain.

"It fell on my groin." Steve groaned as he tried to remove the box from his body, "Dustin! Get this off of me."

I held onto my head as I got a pounding headache. The younger boy removed it from his body so the brunette could help me up, "Are you okay?" I asked, concern laced in my tone.

"Yeah, I'm great now that I know Russians can't design elevators," Steve yelled in anger as he pushed the Henderson boy out of the way to reach the buttons.

Robin rolled her eyes, "We've already established that those buttons don't work."

"They're buttons. They have to do something." He shot back.

"If we had a keycard." She cut him off.

The boy frowned at her words, halting his actions, "What?"

"It's an electronic lock. Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate, meaning-" She explained.

Dustin cut her off, "We're stuck in here."

I nodded in agreement, sighing heavily, "Yeah."

"Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if I'm not home for Uncle Jacks's's party tomorrow and my mom finds out you four are responsible she's gonna hunt you down one by one and slit your throat." Erica yelled, sass laced in her tone.
