Chapter 4

I must've fallen asleep after a while, I just remembered that I woke up by a gentle push.

"Hey, Sarah is back, I'm leaving. It was a nice afternoon; hope we can spend more time together soon. It's late, you don't need to stand up.", he smiled and kissed my head.

I just nodded and continued sleeping, the next morning I stretched and took a shower, just in shirt and boxers I stumbled down to the kitchen, like every morning.

"Morning, honey."

"Morning, ma.", I hugged her.

"Morning, dwarf.", I turned around and met Avan's face.

"I....I....ha...have to go.", I ran back upstairs.

I tried to put some jeans on, but then I heard the knock on the door.

"Go away!"

"Are you okay?", it was Avan.

"Yes!"

"Can I come in?"

"No! Shit.", I almost fell trying to get in my pants as quick as possible.

One moment later he stood in my room.

"Get out!"

"Why?"

"You know why.", I gave up on trying to close the pants.

"Not really no."

"Because YOU are Sarah's boyfriend, my cousin Sarah."

"And?"

"And?! It's wrong! You kissed me, or why did you think I was having a panic attack?"

"Again, I'm sorry. But didn't you like it?"

"I did and that's the problem, I won't start an affair with my cousin's boyfriend. Her life is already shit enough."

"She doesn't seem unhappy."

"You should've seen her after the last breakup."

"I've seen her, I was the one who cheered her up."

"Maybe but I can't and won't do this, you have to stay away from me, and if I have to hide in here the entire day."

"I get you. But does it feel wrong to you?"

"It doesn't matter if it feels wrong or not, it is wrong. No matter what my heart says."

"I won't force you to anything, but, he placed his hands on my hips. think about it, I will accept your answer. But can it be so wrong if it feels right?", he pulled my pants in place and closed the zipper.

"Think about it.", he left with a smile.

I didn't follow him downstairs, I sat on my bed and thought about it, I couldn't do it, as much as I wanted to.

It felt so good to be with him, he made me happy, he cared for me, but I barely knew him, and I couldn't break Sarah's heart.

I avoided him as much as I could the following days, barely spoke to him or Sarah. It was hard cause he spent a lot of time here, so it created an awkward situation.

I thought it was over, but then Sarah told us about her weekend plans.

She wanted to go out again, but luckily with Avan, so I didn't have to spend more time with him.

"Want a quick round of rainbow boulevard?", he entered my room.

"Thought you're going out?"

"I do, but Sarah's in the bathroom getting ready and well she needs quite a while."

"That's nice but I'm not in the mood."

"Are you mad at me?"

"Maybe."

"For what?"

"For cheating on Sarah."

"I didn't cheat."

"But you want to...with me.", I stood up facing him.

"Right, I guess that's your final answer?"

"Yeah.", he just nodded and looked at me, I got lost in his ice blue eyes.

"Dammit.", I grabbed his face and crashed my lips into his.
