I sit up in my bed.

It was a nightmare.

But it felt so real.

I get up and look in my wardrobe. The white dress is still neatly hung up. I grab it and put it on.

*At school*

I'm sitting outside with the girls outside by the stream.

"Yesterday was so fun" Anne says to me.

"What happened yesterday?" Ruby asked.

"Oh we just went to the forest and picked some flowers." I say and stretch my back.

I tilt my head a bit to the side and see Gilbert looking in our direction.

"We should go inside" I say and stand up.

The other girls follow and Diana walks closer to me.

"What's wrong?" She whispers in my ear.

"Nothing, it's almost time to go in anyways" I say and sit down.

***After school***

I took a turn into the forest. I don't want to go directly home, because of the dream I had last night.

Suddenly I hear a twig snap and I turn around.

I see Gilbert.

"Can you not stalk me for 2 days?!" I say and cross my arms.

"Listen, I just need to talk to you" he says.

Wow this guy's good.

"Oh be quiet. You can't just treat me horribly for 8 years then just expect to talk." I say angrily.

"No, but I really do want to talk. Just please give me 5 minutes." He says, almost begging.

"Whatever" I say and roll my eyes.

"I'm sorry for everything. You know i was a real jackass and you don't deserve it. I want to start over." He said, still giving us distance.

I look him up and down. Is he serious?

"Are you serious?" I cross my arms.

"Why wouldn't i be?" He says looking a little confused.

"Nevermind it. I have to get home" i say and continue walking.

He grabs my arm. "please. Just forgive me."

i pull away."fine i forgive you now leave me alone" i walk away and dont look back.
