You know what I love most about these 'love and obsession at first sight books?'... It's the most singular, one track, never-wavering devotion of the male lead towards his girl.
It's another forced love, obsession, and marriage story, but it's much better explained and there are instances that help you understand the development of feelings and the relationship between the characters.
A powerful, feudal, hostile man falls in love at first collide with a sweet, bubbly girl at a wedding and doesn't everything in his power to make her his and she does everything in his power to annoy him into leaving her. It's a cliché, but still gives you some butterflies.
Some dialogues are great in their intensity and catch all the feels.

"Meri nahi hona chahti, toh koi baat nahi, kisi aur ke bare mein socha bhi toh, sab kuch jala dunga"
