Seah's POV

He's still handsome as always.

He smiled at the moment my eyes met his. So I smiled back.

"Hi there, handsome. You must be waiting for too long." I greeted.

"No, I got here just 10 minutes ago. Welcome back, Seah." He greeted me back.

"Yeah. Let's go, Bryan."

"Didn't they know I'm coming home?" Tanong ko kay Bryan when I saw our house without light.

Bryan said.

He just bowed and with no words, he opened the gates.

"Wanna stay, Bryan? My invite.

"I would love to but I have an early class tomorrow." Aniya habang binababa ang gamit ko from his car's trunk.

"Oh. Sorry, I didn't know so maybe next time." Paghingi ko ng pasensya.

"Sure, Seah. We have all the time now. I mean, nandito ka na for good." Aniya.

"Yes. Anyway, Bryan. Salamat sa pagsundo sakin. Buti ka pa hinintay ako but my family wala, natulog lang sila." I said with a bit of bitterness.

Syempre for so many years, ngayon lang ako uuwi for good tapos wala man lang sumalubong sakin sa airport at hindi man lang nila ako hinintay. Just great.

I'm in the middle of my thoughts when I open the door and automatically the lights turned on and tada!

"Welcome home!" They greeted. Mama, Papa, Clyde and our helpers.

"I thought you guys were sleeping already." Pagmamaktol ko kunwari.

"Of course not. We're waiting for you, anak."

"Wait. Why not my favorite, Ma? Ako star of the night, remember?" Reklamo ko.

"Kasi I'm their favorite." Pang-aasar ni Clyde sakin.

"Alam mo naman ang kapatid mo ayaw ma-out of place." Sabi ni Papa.

"Whatever. I'm not giving your pasalabong then." Pang-aasar ko sa kapatid ko.

"You know what ate? You're the kindest, prettiest, and smartest!" Pambobola niya sakin.

"You're very right." Tugon ko.

"Let's eat! Kanina pa ako gutom." Sabi ni Papa.

May tumawag kay Papa sa phone niya.

"What is it, Faye? Really? Yes I'll check it later." Sabi ni Papa sa kausap niya and dropped the call.

Faye has been his secretary for almost 2 decades.

They want to invest in our business."

"I saw something on the news about that company awhile ago, Papa. Sabi dun, a bridge crashed because of the materials ng mga GIMC." Sinabi ni Clyde.

Infairness sa kapatid ko, kahit 14 years old palang siya, he's observant and interested with regards to business.

"That might be the reason why their investors are pulling out." Tugon ko.

"Maybe, anak."

It could cause an issue and could destroy our reputation."

"You're right, Mama. It's better for us to stay out of it." Desisyon ni Papa.

Buti nalang at nakinig si Papa. This is what they say. Behind every man's success is a woman. They could grab that opportunity but they resist.

We're playing fair and square.

Remember Irish?" Pag-iiba ni Mama ng usapan.

"Yes, Ma. I remember her. In fact, nung nagtanong sakin si tita Faye about my course na ieenroll niya, I suggested why not I make Irish my secretary since I can't handle all of my things alone. Aside from her salary and benefits, I've decided to pay for all of her tuition fees." Sagot ko.

Irish is the daughter of Papa's secretary, Faye. They're good people and I just want to help them.

"No, Pa. She just needs to remind me of everything and if she needs to accompany me then I'll bring her, if not then she can have the time for herself."

After our dinner, I called tita Faye and she told me that Irish accepted my offer.
