"Hey, I said I was sorry, princess!" Ruby says

"It's Heiress, actually. Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world." (M/N) says as he and Blake walk up to Ruby and Weiss.

      "Finally, some recognition." Weiss says

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners." Blake says as she continues for (M/N).

"What- How dare--! The nerve of--! Ugh!" Weiss says as she snatches the dust jar from (M/N)'s hands.

"I promise I'll make this up to you! I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day." Ruby says

"Sis, shouldn't we help her she seems down?" (M/N) asks Blake as he looks at Ruby

"No, let's go we have better things to do." Blake says as she grabs (M/N)'s shirt and pulls him along.

"So what's--? Welcome to Beacon..." Ruby asks as she watches Blake and (M/N) walk away. She lays down saddened.

"Hey... I'm Jaune." Jaune says as he holds his hand out to Ruby.

"Ruby. Aren't you the guy that threw up on the ship?" Ruby asks as Jaune helps her up.

"All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem let on!" Jaune says as he and Ruby walk around the water fountain.

"Look, I'm sorry vomit-boy was the first thing that came to mind." Ruby says

"Oh yeah, what if I called you Crater-face?" Jaune asks

"Hey, that explosion was an accident." Ruby says

"Well, the name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it!" Jaune says

     "Do they?" Ruby asks.

"They will. Well, I hope they will... I mean my mom always says that... never mind." Jaune says

"So I got this thing." Ruby says as she pulls out Crescent Rose.

"Whoa! Is that a Scythe?" Jaune asks

"It's also a customizable, high-impact velocity sniper rifle." Ruby says

     "A wha-?" Jaune asks

"It's also a gun." Ruby says as she cocks the gun.

     "Oh. That's cool!" Jaune says

"So what've you got?" Ruby asks

"Oh-uh, I got this sword." Jaune says as he draws his sword.

     "Ooooooh!" Ruby says amazed

"Yeah, I've got a shield too!' Jaune says as his shield expands.

"So what do they do?" Ruby asks as Jaune loses his grip on the shield making it bounce as he tries to catch it.

"Well... the shield gets smaller... so when I get tired of carrying it... I can just put it away." Jaune says as he catches the shield and shrinks it back down and puts it on his belt.

"But wouldn't it weigh the same?" Ruby asks

     "Yeah, it does." Jaune says

"Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons. I guess I did go a little overboard designing it." Ruby says

"Wait. You made that?" Jaune asks

"Of course! All students at Signal forge their own weapons. Didn't you make yours?" Ruby asks

"It's a hand-me-down. My great-great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war." Jaune says

"Sounds more like a family heirloom to me! Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days." Ruby says

     "Yeah. The classics." Jaune says

"So why'd you help me out back there, in the courtyard?" Ruby asks

"Eh, why not? My mom always says, "Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet." Jaune says as he and Ruby continue to walk around the water fountain.

"Hmmm... Hey, where are we going?" Ruby asks

"Oh, I dunno, I was following you. You think there might do you think there might be a directory? Maybe a food court? Some kind of recognizable landmark? Is uh... Is that a "no?" Jaune asks as Ruby snorts and laughs.

"That's a "no." Ruby says the screen goes black.
