"So tell me, do you have any last words?"

The man sitting in the execution chair stares at the ground and then slowly up to the executioner.

"This world is rotten to the core. I did my part in cleansing it of all bad things. Someone else will pick up my work," the man said.

"Very well, killer scum," the executioner said, lifting his gun. He placed it on the man's forehead.

BANG!

~***~

For what only felt like a few seconds in that chair, the man slowly wakes up to find himself on a bench. He looks around at his surroundings, trying to see where he ended up.

"Where the hell am I?" he said. Looking around, he saw he was on a street in the middle of some dark city. The atmosphere was extremely hellish, with demons and sinners walking along the sidewalks. The signs lining the shops of the street were all advertising terms that would only mean one thing.

"Shit, I'm in Hell," mumbled the man, as he slowly stood up. As soon as he did, his wallet slowly fell out of his pocket. The man cursed at himself as he slowly crouched over to grab it. As he did, he caught a glimpse of his reflection in the water puddle.

"W-What the hell?!" he thought to himself. His appearance was different from when he was alive. He was a demon with the features of a black wolf with demonic red eyes and sharp fangs. On top of his head, he has a pair of small red horns beside his big fluffy ears. Despite looking like a wolf, he wore a dark black suit with a silky deep red button-up shirt. With the blazer open, he had a black belt with a brass buckle, alongside a gold watch on his left wrist.

"I'm a wolf? A wolf-demon?! What the hell?!" he exclaimed, slowly falling back onto the bench. "WELCOME TO HELL, NEWBIE!" cackled some demons walking past him. He slowly looked at them, with intense anger.

Immediately, as he would in real life, he reached for the knife he kept hidden in his pocket. Upon reaching, he was shocked to find out he didn't have it. "Where's my knife?! Damn it!" he yelled, punching the bench under him. He slowly took some deep breaths as he sat there in silence.

After calming down, he slowly looked in his wallet, to see if his stuff was still there. To his surprise, all of his money was gone. Everything except his ID, which consisted of his new appearance and name.

"Blade," he mumbles to himself. As he placed it back in his wallet, he slowly started walking down the street, observing his surroundings. The area reeked of rotten garbage, like the slums of a big city. He kept walking, looking at all the demons walking past him. "All these sinners did bad things to end up down here, like me," he thought, walking across the street. "Hell, huh? Not bad. Well, not that I'm complaining," he thought, as he stopped to look up to the sky.

The sky was a deep crimson red in color, which matched with the rest of the dark atmosphere down in Hell. "Now...where to stay...," he mumbled as he turned to see a tall building in the distance. The building has a large sign towering over it with flashy lights. "Hazbin
Hotel?" he asked, both irritated and confused by the choice of naming the place. "As in "Has-Been"? Ugh, that name makes me want to vomit," he said, looking away in disgust.

However, thinking about it. He had nowhere else to go without any money. "Ugh, it's better than nothing," he grumbled as he started to walk in the direction of the hotel. As he did, a demon jumped out of the door in front of him, laughing up a storm. The demon looked like he was very drunk.

"HAHAHA! OH MAN! THAT WAS A FUN TIME! HAHAHAHA!" he said, as he chugged the rest of his drink before smashing it on the pavement. As he struggled to keep his balance, he fell into the garbage cans, knocking them over. He knocked himself out as he laid there, with rotten garbage all over him.

Blade stood there, confused and irritated by what just happened in front of him. As he continued to walk, he noticed the drunk man had some wads of money poking out of his pocket. "Tsk, dumbass. If you can't hold your liquor, don't drink at all," he grumbled, as he crouched and swiped the money. After putting it in his pocket, he continued to walk in the same direction as the hotel.

"Maybe I can get some shut eye before I figure out what to do now that I'm dead," He thought to himself, chuckling as he kept walking.
