I'm with Nancy in her bedroom, we're having a sleepover.
Emi: Oh my God, you're dating my cousin!?
Nancy: Yes!!
Emi: I'm so happy for you!!
Nancy: Thanks Em!
Emi: But be careful, he goes out with a lot of girls that he ends up leaving.
Nancy: I know, I will be careful. And you, what's going on with Dustin?
Emi: Nothing.. He's just my best friend.
Nancy looks offended.
Emi: My best friend boy, you are my best friend girl.
Nancy: I hope so.

I'm awake but I keep my eyes closed. My head is lying on someone's lap.
???: Woo-oo! Woo-oo! Okay, this is what Alexei called "the hub."
Who the fuck is Alexei.
???: Now, the hub takes us to the vaut room.
Another voice that I recognize speaks.
Hopper: Okay, where's the gate?
???: Right here.
I go back to sleep.

I wake up a little later but I still keep my eyes closed.
Joyce: Hey, Nancy.
Nancy: Hey, Mrs. Byers.
Joyce: Call me Joyce.
Nancy: Oh, okay.
Joyce: Poor girl, so young. Getting drugged at her age... she's what 15? 14?
Nancy: 14.
She said stroking my hair.
Joyce: You must love her very much.
Nancy: Yeah, she's like my little sister.
Joyce: Aww.I'm going to join Hopper.
Nancy: Okay.
I open my eyes and sit down.
Nancy: Hey.
Emi: How many times have I slept?
Nancy: Not enough.
Dustin, Lucas, Will and Mike come to see me.
Lucas: It's good to see you again.
Will: We missed you.
Emi: Missed you too guys. Hey Nancy?
Nancy: Yeah?
Emi: Can we go get something to eat?
Nancy: Yes if you want?
We're going to look in several small stores in Starcourt. We come back with a ton of stuff.

After finishing eating I join the others.
Hopper: Hey, heads up. You can navigate, just from someplace safe.
He passes us a walkie
Dustin: It's not that simple.
Emi: The signal won't reach. Not with this. You need something with a high enough frequency band to relay with the Russians' radio tower. But for that to work, you need someone who has both seen their comms room and has access to a super-powered handcrafted radio tower, one preferably already situated at the highest point in Hawkins. Oh, wait. That's me and Dustin.
