"My car is still at the club from last night and we have no way to get to the track" I groan, rubbing my face

"You can get a lift with us if you want?" Lando suggests, looking over to alex and george who both nod, agreeing

"Are you sure?" I ask

"Yeah, we've got space"

"That would be great, thanks"

"Meet us down here in half an hour?"

"Great!"

"Come on, Elle" I groan, standing at the door of her room. After gathering everything I would need at the track, I made my way over to her room to find her still running around trying to find her sunglasses

"I CAN'T HELP I LOST MY SUNGLASSES!" She shouts from the bathroom, causing me to roll my eyes

"Honestly, this seems more like a you problem. You should have brought more than one pair" I giggle as I hear a muffled 'shut up' shouted back at me

"Found them!" She cheers, panting as she steps up beside me

"You got everything?"

"Yup" She replies proudly, already starting to walk down the hallway

"You sure?"

"Obviously"

"So what about these passes for the garage sat on your desk?"

"Shit!"

Surprisingly, Elle and I weren't the last to come down. Sat alone in the foyer is Lando, scrolling through his phone. Given how quiet the area is, I whisper to Elle to stay quiet and sneak up behind him

"BOO!" I shout, grabbing his shoulders. He jolts forward, dropping his phone at his side

"Fucking hell" He laughs, breathlessly, "You scared the shit out of me"

"You're welcome" I giggle, sitting down across from him

"You do realise what you've started"

"You don't scare me, Norris"

The lift to our right opens up again, revealing Alex and George

"Took your time" Lando says as the two walk over

"Less yapping, more moving" George replies, causing Lando to roll his eyes as we all stand and make our way out to the minivan. I slide the door open, moving to the side

"Ladies first" I mock bow, allowing the boys past. With my head tilted down, I can't see anything however I can still feel someone hit the back of my head

"OW!" I shriek, glaring up at a laughing Lando as he climbs in, "Dickhead. Move over"

I push him further into the middle of the seat, sitting down by the window. The driver pulls out into the bustling city. I watch out the window at the passing crowds, friends and families on trips of a lifetime around the world, nothing for them to worry about

"I'll see you in a bit, yeah?" I say to Elle who nods in response. After watching her retreat into the hospitality building, I cross over to the garage, showing the security guard my guard my pass who immediately lets me in. A few mechanics and influencers pass me by as I enter the garage a walk towards my side where both my engineer and my assistant are waiting for me
